Testing and training apparatus
A testing and training apparatus, comprising: an upright frame; an instrumentation support that is supported by the upright frame so as to be adjustable in height; and instrumentation mountable on the instrumentation support. The instrumentation comprises a plurality of force sensors, and is rotatable relative to the upright frame, and the apparatus is controllable to output data signals indicative of force detected by the force sensors.
Systems and methods for detecting and characterizing pain
Various systems are disclosed herein for detecting, monitoring, evaluating, and characterizing pain. They systems include a number of connected components, such as a provider device, a body-mapping system, a patient device, a user device, a referred pain device and/or a rectal probe device. Accordingly, the systems allow providers to track location-specific pain intensity for any number of patients over time in order to generate reports and determine treatment recommendations for such patients.
MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND MEASUREMENT METHOD
A measurement system includes a first measurement unit configured to measure floor reaction forces of golfer's left and right legs, a second measurement unit that is attached to the upper body of a golfer and configured to measure an angular velocity of the golfer, and a processing unit. The processing unit calculates, based on measurement results of the first measurement unit and the second measurement unit, a first energy which is a kinetic energy of the golfer during a swing.
Methods, systems and devices for generating real-time activity data updates to display devices
Methods, systems and devices are provided for displaying monitored activity data in substantial real-time on a screen of a computing device. One example method includes capturing motion data associated with activity of a user via an activity tracking device. The motion data is quantified into a plurality of metrics associated with the activity of the user. The method includes connecting the activity tracking device with a computing device over a wireless data connection, and sending motion data from the activity tracking device to the computing device for display of one or more of the plurality of metrics on a graphical user interface of the computing device. At least one of the plurality of metrics displayed on the graphical user interface is shown to change in substantial real-time based on the motion data.
System and method for optimizing pelvic floor muscle training
A system and method for optimizing a patient's Kegel exercises is provided. The system includes a user interface device and a vaginal device. The vaginal device includes an intra-vaginal probe having an accelerometer that is configured to generate a signal in response to movement of the probe. The user interface device is connected to the vaginal device and analyzes signals from the accelerometer to provide physiological feedback information to the patient. The vaginal device may be connected to the user interface device via wireless communications such as BLUETOOTH® or by wire. The user interface device may be a smart device or a computer that transmits information to central web-based data server accessible by the patient or authorized healthcare providers or third-party payers.
Method and system for generating athletic signatures
A method for profiling an athlete is discloses. The method comprises storing force-time data for a population of athletes; wherein said force-time data is generated by a sensor system in respect of each of said plurality of athletes in response to the said athlete performing an athletic movement, and comprises values for a concentric net vertical impulse (CON-IMP), an average eccentric rate of force development (ECC-RFD), and an average vertical concentric force (CON-VF); performing a normalization of the force-time data for each athlete based on values of the force-time data within the population of athletes; and generating a profile comprising an athletic signature for each athlete in the population, wherein said profile comprises the normalized values for the concentric net vertical impulse (CON-IMP), the average eccentric rate of force development (ECC-RFD), and the average vertical concentric force (CON-VF) for the athlete.
Devices, systems, and methods for training pelvic floor muscles
The present invention relates to intravaginal devices, systems including the devices, and methods of using the devices to train an individual in the performance of exercises (e.g., pelvic floor lifts (PFLs) and pelvic floor relaxations (PFRs)) that strengthen the individual's pelvic floor muscles in order to treat or prevent pelvic floor disorders (e.g., pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence) and their accompanying symptoms.
SENSOR INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
A filter to cut at least a harmonic component of a frequency component derived from breathing of a person to be observed is applied to a detected signal of a wireless sensor, and a heartbeat component of the person is detected in a signal having passed through the filter.
System and method for pelvic floor feedback and neuromodulation
A computer-implemented method for pelvic floor feedback. The method includes capturing a strength of action potentials via wireless sensors, the wireless sensors positioned proximate to a pelvic floor of a user. The method also includes transmitting the strength of the action potentials to a mobile device. The method also includes recording the strength of the action potentials on the mobile device.
Muscle fatigue measuring device and associated systems and methods
Exemplary embodiments are directed to muscle fatigue measuring devices that include a bottom stabilizing portion, a handle, a central extended portion, and a force measuring device. The central extended portion can be disposed between the bottom stabilizing portion and the handle. The force measuring device can be connected to the handle. The force measuring device can be adapted to measure a force applied to the handle. Exemplary embodiments are also directed to methods of measuring muscle fatigue and muscle fatigue measuring systems.
