ACTIVITY MONITORING DEVICE WITH ASSESSMENT OF EXERCISE INTENSITY
Aspects relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses relating to a portable device that may be used to identify a critical intensity and an anaerobic work capacity of an individual. The device may utilize muscle oxygen sensor data, speed data, or power data. The device may utilize data from multiple exercise sessions, or may utilize data from a single exercise session. The device may additionally estimate a critical intensity from a previous race time input from a user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PELVIC FLOOR FEEDBACK AND NEUROMODULATION
A computer-implemented method for pelvic floor feedback. The method includes capturing a strength of action potentials via wireless sensors, the wireless sensors positioned proximate to a pelvic floor of a user. The method also includes transmitting the strength of the action potentials to a mobile device. The method also includes recording the strength of the action potentials on the mobile device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR KEGEL TRAINING
A system and method for optimizing a patient's Kegel exercises is provided. The system includes a user interface device and a vaginal device. The vaginal device includes an intra-vaginal probe having an accelerometer that is configured to generate a signal in response to movement of the probe. The user interface device is connected to the vaginal device and analyzes signals from the accelerometer to provide physiological feedback information to the patient. The vaginal device may be connected to the user interface device via wireless communications such as Bluetooth or by wire. The user interface device may be a smart device or a computer that transmits information to central web-based data server accessible by the patient or authorized healthcare providers or third-party payers.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE
An electromechanical device for rehabilitation includes pedals coupled to radially-adjustable couplings, an electric motor coupled to the pedals via the radially-adjustable couplings, and a control system including a processing device operatively coupled to the electric motor. The processing device configured to, responsive to a first trigger condition occurring, control the electric motor to operate in a passive mode by independently driving the radially-adjustable couplings rotationally coupled to the pedals. The processing device also configured to, responsive to a second trigger condition occurring, control the electric motor to operate in an active-assisted mode by measuring revolutions per minute of the radially-adjustable couplings, and cause the electric motor to drive the radially-adjustable couplings when the measured revolutions per minute satisfy a threshold condition, and responsive to a third trigger condition occurring, control the electric motor to operate in a resistive mode by providing resistance to rotation of the radially-adjustable couplings.
MEDICAL DEVICE RADIO FREQUENCY TRANSCEIVER AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Described herein are radio frequency (RF) transceivers that act as a relay device to provide communication between a sensor of a medical device (e.g., a medical device implanted within the body) and a peripheral device, such as a smartphone. The medical device may be an intraurethral, intrarectal, or intravaginal device. The sensor of the medical device may be a microelectromechanical (MEM) sensor, such as an accelerometer.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING, ASSESSING AND MANAGING FUNCTIONAL STATE
An apparatus and method for monitoring, assessing and managing an individual's functional state to allow the individual to reach and maintain optimized functional state based on customized guidance using as few as two to three functional state tests.
ASSESSMENT OF PHYSICAL FITNESS OF AN ANIMAL OR HUMAN INDIVIDUAL
The invention determines an efficiency value (E) denoting preferably the relative period of muscle fibre activity during a recorded period of exercise, and a strength value (S) representing the number of muscle fibres recruited during a movement as part of the exercise or of a muscle contraction, and a temporal value (T) representing the frequency with which muscle fibres are activated repeatedly during exercise, and finally combines the efficiency value (E), the strength value (S) and the temporal value (T) by a linear combination to obtain an index value (ESTi) indicative of the fitness level of the individual. The obtained ESTi Score is useful for assessing the training level of an animal or human individual and the individual's potential for different types of sports and other activity. Also the effect of past training or diet can be assessed, and the possible need for changes in training or diet can be assessed.

STATE DETECTION METHOD, STATE DETECTION DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A state detection method includes: storing first information obtained from a first sensor and second information obtained from a second sensor in a predetermined segment in a storage, by a processor; specifying a behavior segment indicating a segment in which a subject performs a specific behavior and a non-behavior segment indicating a segment in which the subject does not perform the specific behavior using the second information stored in the storage, by the processor; determining a feature amount to be used for detecting a specific state of the subject using respective values of a plurality of feature amounts included in the first information stored in the storage in each of the behavior segment and the non-behavior segment and determining a threshold value for the determined feature amount, by the processor; and detecting the specific state of the subject from the information obtained from the first sensor, by the processor.
REAL-TIME BIOFEEDBACK REHABILITATION TOOL GUIDING AND ILLUSTRATING FOOT PLACEMENT FOR GAIT TRAINING
A biofeedback rehabilitation display for gait training visible to the subject including a plurality of foot placement targets visible to the subject on the display and moving along the display at a speed proportional to the desired gait speed of the subject and in a direction along the display representative of the direction of locomotion of the subject; a pair of subject foot icons visible to the subject illustrating real-time foot positioning of the subject throughout the gait pattern of the subject, wherein the foot icons distinguish between stance phase and swing phase throughout the gait pattern of the subject; and at least one real-time proximity measurement visible to the subject for each stance phase providing the subject with an indication of the proximity of each stance phase of each foot with an intended foot placement target.
