System, method, and article for heart rate variability monitoring
What is provided is a system, method, and article of manufacture for detecting, monitoring, and tracking whether a user is in a more relaxed or stressed state by measuring the user's heart rate variability. The system has a heart rate monitoring device with at least one sensor that is configured to measure user heart rate. The system also has a mobile computing device, which may be configured to interact with the heart rate monitoring device for monitoring, tracking, and displaying a user's heart rate and mental stress level information. The method measures the user's heart rate information to calculate a measure of heart rate variability and to analyze whether peaks corresponding to activation levels of the user's parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) and sympathetic nervous system (SNS) exceed a predetermined threshold level within a predetermined time period.

The set of health sensors including temperature sensors, body position sensors, and body fat sensors. A method including receiving, from the temperature sensors, temperature data corresponding to a sensed body temperature of the user, receiving, from the body position sensors, body position data corresponding to a sensed body position of the user, receiving, from the body fat sensors, body fat data corresponding to a sensed body fat of the user, and transmitting, to a computer workstation, health data corresponding to the temperature data, the body position data, and the body fat data for use in determining the body temperature, the body position, and the body fat of the user.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO ASSESS DISEASE USING PHASE SPACE VOLUMETRIC OBJECTS
The exemplified methods and systems provide a phase space volumetric object in which the dynamics of a complex, quasi-periodic system, such as the electrical conduction patterns of the heart, or other biophysical-acquired signals of other organs, are represented as an image of a three dimensional volume having both a volumetric structure (e.g., a three dimensional structure) and a color map to which features can be extracted that are indicative the presence and/or absence of pathologies, e.g., ischemia relating to significant coronary arterial disease (CAD). In some embodiments, the phase space volumetric object can be assessed to extract topographic and geometric parameters that are used in models that determine indications of presence or non-presence of significant coronary artery disease.
Pulse generator system for promoting desynchronized firing of recruited neural populations
An Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) is disclosed that is capable of sensing a degree to which recruited neurons in a patient's tissue are firing synchronously, and of modifying a stimulation program to promote desynchronicity and to reduce paresthesia. An evoked compound action potential (ECAP) of the recruited neurons is sensed as a measure of synchronicity by at least one non-active electrode. An ECAP algorithm operable in the IPG assesses the shape of the ECAP and determines one or more ECAP shape parameters that indicate whether the recruited neurons are firing synchronously or desynchronously. If the shape parameters indicate significant synchronicity, the ECAP algorithm can adjust the stimulation program to promote desynchronous firing.
Computational Systems and Methods for Health Services Planning and Matching
Systems and methods are described relating to accepting an indication of at least one attribute of an individual; accepting sensor data about the individual; presenting a set of health care options at least partially based on the accepting sensor data about the individual; and providing a matching system for procurement of at least one selected health service option.
System for assessing a mental health disorder
A system for assessing a mental health disorder in a human subject, the system comprising: a display configured to display a series of natural test images to the subject; an input by which the subject can input a response, following the display of each test image, as to whether or not the test image satisfies a predetermined categorization criterion; a control processor configured to control the display of the test images by the display, to measure the duration of time from when each test image is initially displayed to when the corresponding response is input by the subject, and to generate a set of response data including the response times in respect of each of the test images; and a data processor configured to process the set of response data and to compare the processed response data with reference data to assess whether or not the subject has, or is likely to develop, the mental health disorder.
AORTICORENAL GANGLION DETECTION
Devices and methods that regulate the innervation of the kidney by detection and modification of the aorticorenal ganglion. Devices for percutaneous detection and treatment of the aorticorenal ganglion via a blood vessel to modify renal sympathetic activity.
Personalized avatar responsive to user physical state and context
Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate providing guidance to a user during performance of a program or routine using a personalized avatar. In an aspect, a system includes a reception component configured to receive biochemical information about a physiological state or condition of a user, including information identifying a presence or a status of one or more biomarkers. The system further includes an analysis component configured to determine or infer one or more characteristics of the physiological state or condition of the user based on the information identifying the presence or the status of the one or more biomarkers, and a visualization component configured to adapt an appearance of an avatar presented to the user based on the one or more characteristics to reflect the one or more characteristics.
Nanobiomimetic Memtransformer Apparatus and an Application in Energy-Sensory Images Thereto
An electromagnetic MEM-transformer includes arrays of nanometer sized first toroidal made by self-assembling organic polymer conductive membrane on top of the first electrode, a vertical solenoid was inserted in the cavity of the first toroid, made by second nano donuts cyclodextrin toroids, in the hollow cavity comprising of different electronegativity functional groups; an organic laminate agent forms a linen lining the first cavity of the arrayed toroids in cross bars that is perpendicular to the first and second toroid and leave nanometer space air gap between them, upon applied a DC voltage or a current cross the first electrode with membrane and the second electrode without a membrane, changing currents flow in the bipolar toroids in electron-relay circular forms provide electromagnetism flux and air gaps exists as dielectric substance providing meminductance to the toroids and the changing memcapacitance is also in a hysteresis wave form with on-off switches. Herein, a method for utilizing the energy transformer device to sense changes of electromagnetic field due to neuronal dysfunction through a random gridding correlative data matrix and convert it to refined spatiotemporal orientations in the Energy-Sensory Images also disclosed.
