STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
A steering column assembly includes a steering shaft, a shroud, a support bracket and a clamping mechanism which clamps the shroud to the bracket. When the clamping mechanism is unclamped, the clamping mechanism permits the shroud to pivot about the pivot assembly to enable the steering column assembly to be adjusted for rake. The pivot assembly further includes a sleeve, a ring shaped busing, and a set of circumferentially arranged spacer members. The ring-shaped bushing defines a set of circumferentially spaced resilient members that each define a contact surface that contacts one of the sleeve and the bore. The spacer members are arranged alternately with the resilient members around the whole or a substantial part of the bushing.
DIRECT DRIVE FOR A WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM
Provided are embodiments for a direct drive wiper system. The system includes a motor that is operably coupled to a wiper system to drive one or more wiper arms of the wiper system, and a gearbox, wherein an input to the gearbox is coupled to the motor and an output of the gearbox is coupled to the wiper assembly, wherein the gearbox is configured to convert an input from the motor to an output to drive the wiper system. The system also includes a brake and stopper mechanism that is coupled to the gearbox and the wiper system. Also provided are embodiments for a method for operating the direct drive wiper system.
REINFORCED TRAILER AXLE TUBE WITH REPLACEABLE SPINDLE ASSEMBLY
An axle tube assembly includes an axle tube, a first tube reinforcement apparatus disposed in the axle tube at one end and a second identical tube reinforcement apparatus disposed into the axle tube at the second end the reinforcement apparatuses welded in place to the axle tube, a first spindle assembly coupled to the first tube reinforcement apparatus, a second spindle assembly coupled to the second tube reinforcement apparatus, and an elongated connector rod or tube connected to the first and second to reinforcement apparatuses inside the axle tube and disposed between the reinforcement apparatuses the first and second spindle assemblies having spindle bodies welded to the cylindrical ends of the axle tube.
CONTROL DEVICE AND VEHICLE
A present invention is a control device, that can be mounted in a vehicle including left and right wheels, comprising a detection unit for detecting, for the left and right wheels, a displacement in a vertical direction of the vehicle body, and a correction unit for correcting, based a detection result of the detection unit, a variation of a vehicle advancing direction caused by the displacement.
MULTIPLE POSITION VEHICLE COVER
A cover for a vehicle having a first compartment and a second compartment includes a first section, a second section and an intermediate section. The first section includes at least one connector and is adapted to overlie the first compartment. The second section includes at least one connector and the intermediate section is located between the first section and the second section. In a first position the cover defines a first effective surface area, and the first section is in a first position, the second section is in a first position, and the intermediate section is not parallel to the first section and second section. In a second position, the cover defines a second effective surface area that is less than the first effective surface area, and either or both of the first section and the second section is in a second position.
VEHICULAR WHEEL HAVING A SPOKE DEFINING A HOLLOW CHAMBER AND VEHICLES INCLUDING SAME
A vehicular wheel assembly defines an axis of rotation and includes a wheel having an inner hub, an outer rim, and a plurality of hollow spokes. The outer rim defines an outer circumference. Each hollow spoke of the plurality of hollow spokes extends between the inner hub and the outer rim and includes a wall that at least partially defines a hollow chamber. The outer rim defines a plurality of openings that are each in fluid communication with one of the hollow chambers and each of the openings includes a tuning member.
SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING CONTROL PRESSURES AND/OR WORKING PRESSURES
A system (40) for transmitting control pressures and/or working pressures from a wheel-hub pressure medium supply (20, 21, 22), in particular from a wheel-hub pressure medium rotary union (21), to a vehicle rim (2) mounted on the wheel hub (1). The system (40) has a receiving part (41), which has a central region (55) with a central opening (44) and at least one extension region (43) projecting radially from the central region (55), at least in some regions. The receiving part (41) can be connected to the wheel hub (1) by means of the at least one radially projecting extension region (43), in a detachable way, and the control pressures and/or working pressures can be transmitted from the wheel-hub pressure medium supply (20, 21, 22) to the opening (44).
MOTOR INTEGRATION ASSEMBLY
A motor integration assembly includes a supporting structure for connecting a transmission of a vehicle to a drivetrain of the vehicle, wherein the support structure includes a housing to receive a portion of the drivetrain of the vehicle. The motor integration assembly also includes a torque transfer unit for transferring torque from an electric machine to the portion of the drivetrain of the vehicle.
Decorative cover for motor vehicle wheels having active lighting
Decorative cover (1) for motor vehicle wheels, which is detachably arranged in the space (5) between spokes (4) of a motor vehicle rim (2), wherein the decorative cover (1) has active lighting, the electrical energy of which can be generated by an energy module (12) fastened to the rear of the decorative cover, wherein the energy generation thereof works independently of the fixed components of the motor vehicle.
