ELECTRIC UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLE
A utility task vehicle (UTV) includes a frame having frame rails and a battery assembly positioned laterally between the frame rails. The battery assembly includes a battery housing and a battery array having a plurality of battery cells. The battery array is positioned within the battery housing and the battery assembly provides support for or is located under a floor of a cabin of the utility task vehicle.
ELECTRIC BATTERY ASSEMBLY
A battery assembly is disclosed that includes a battery housing, a battery array, and one or more cooling plates. The battery housing forms a battery compartment having a width and length greater than a height. The battery array includes a plurality of cylindrical battery cells oriented with an axis perpendicular to the height of the battery compartment. The plurality of cells are organized into a plurality of rows within the battery compartment. The one or more cooling plates oriented perpendicular to the axis of the battery cells and positioned proximal to an end of battery cells within a row of the plurality of rows.
Work Vehicle
A work vehicle includes a propelling device, which consists of a pair of right and left front wheels and a pair of right and left rear wheels, an engine configured to drive one of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, an electric motor configured to drive the other of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, a battery configured to supply electric power to the electric motor, and a controller configured to control the electric motor. The controller performs regeneration control at constant current value to charge the battery with regenerative power of the electric motor at a constant current value regardless of rotation speed of the electric motor.
WINDOW NET DOOR ATTACHMENT
A window net door attachment is provided for coupling with a vehicle door to provide protection to occupants within the vehicle during travel over rough terrain or during rolling over of the vehicle. Framed portions of the window net door attachment surround an open area between a top of the vehicle door, a roof, and a windshield area of the vehicle. A window net within a boundary support is attached to the frame portions and to the top of the vehicle door, such that the window net is disposed throughout the open area. Attachments along the boundary support retain the window net in an extended disposition within the open area. Vertical supports may be interwoven with the window net so as to impart relatively greater strength to the window net.
Work vehicle
Regarding a work vehicle configured to include an engine mounted on a travelling machine body and an exhaust gas purification device arranged in an exhaust gas path of the engine, it is an object to prevent the regeneration control of the exhaust gas purification device from being executed against an operator's will. The work vehicle of the present invention includes a regeneration switch 329 configured to cause the regeneration control of an exhaust gas purification device 50 to be executed. First, when a cumulative drive time of an engine 5 has passed in a prescribed time or longer, a regeneration control request warning is displayed on a meter panel 246. Then, only when a regeneration switch 329 is manually operated by an operator after the display of the regeneration control request warning on the meter panel 246, the regeneration control of the exhaust gas purification device 50 is started.
Vehicle speed control system and method
A system for controlling the speed of a vehicle, the system being operable to cause the vehicle to operate in accordance with a value of vehicle set-speed, the system being operable to allow a user to change the current value of vehicle set-speed in discrete steps by means of user input means, a magnitude of the discrete steps being determined by the system in dependence on a vehicle operational state.
Safety assembly for off-highway truck
A safety assembly for off-highway trucks. The safety assembly can include a bracket and an arm. The arm can be coupled to the bracket via a pivot pin. The arm can rotate about the pivot pin. In preparation for operation of the off-highway truck the arm can be rotated around the pivot pin and held in a first position by a positioning pin that is placed at a first position between a left plate and a right plate of the bracket. In preparation for service of the off-highway truck the arm can be rotated around the pivot pin and held in a second position by the positioning pin placed at a second position between the left plate and right of the bracket.
ASSEMBLY FOR MOUNTING A WHEEL TO A PORTAL GEAR BOX OF AN OFF-ROAD VEHICLE
A vibration-reducing portal box assembly for mounting a wheel of an off-road vehicle includes a housing with a receptacle adapted to receive a stock axle shaft of an off-road vehicle, an output shaft operably connectable to a stock axle received in the housing and effective to rotate upon rotation of said stock axle, and a wheel hub having a central opening adapted to receive said output shaft, and adapted to turn a wheel mounted to said wheel hub upon rotation of said output shaft. The output shaft has a tapered portion connecting its proximal end to its distal end. The wheel hub has a tapered portion adapted to matingly receive the tapered portion of the output shaft. The output shaft may be connected to the stock axle shaft by a geared linking mechanism.
DUAL-MOTOR ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION AND CONTROL METHOD
A dual-motor transmission therefor, comprising a first and a second electric traction motor, a first gear arrangement, a second gear arrangement, and a summation box. The first gear arrangement includes a shaft and at least a first gear and a second gear, wherein each of the first and the second gears can be selectively engaged and disengaged with the shaft via a clutch, and the first gear arrangement supplies a first torque from the first motor to the summation box. The second gear arrangement includes a shaft and at least a first gear, wherein the first gear can be engaged and disengaged with the shaft via a clutch, and the second gear arrangement supplies a second torque from the second motor to the summation box, and the summation box is configured to combine the first and second torques and to output a combined output torque.
Side-by-side vehicle
The present invention relates to all terrain vehicles having at least a pair of laterally spaced apart seating surfaces.
