ENHANCED ELECTRIC DRIVE VEHICLE PERFORMANCE WITH EXTENDED MOTOR TORQUE CAPABILITIES
Presented are high-voltage electrical systems, control logic, and electric-drive vehicles with optimized motor torque output. A method of operating an electric-drive vehicle includes a controller identifying the vehicle's operating mode and determining calibration settings corresponding to this operating mode. These calibration settings include low and high coolant temperature (CoolTemp) thresholds, and motor-calibrated torque limits as a function of CoolTemp. The controller determines if the present CoolTemp of the power inverter's coolant is greater than the low CoolTemp threshold and less than the high CoolTemp threshold. If so, the controller sets a motor torque limit of the vehicle's electric motor to a torque limit value selected from a fixed torque limit region within the torque limits data between the low and high CoolTemp thresholds. The controller operates the power inverter to regulate the transfer of electrical power between a rechargeable battery and the electric motor based on the motor torque limit.
Electric drive axle
The present document relates to an electric drive axle comprising an electric motor, a first planetary gear set, a second planetary gear set, and a differential assembly. The electric motor is drivingly connected or drivingly connectable to the differential assembly via the first planetary gear set and via the second planetary gear set.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SERVER BASED CONTROL
A system and method in a building or vehicle for an actuator operation in response to a sensor according to a control logic, the system comprising a router or a gateway communicating with a device associated with the sensor and a device associated with the actuator over in-building or in-vehicle networks, and an external Internet-connected control server associated with the control logic implementing a PID closed linear control loop and communicating with the router over external network for controlling the in-building or in-vehicle phenomenon. The sensor may be a microphone or a camera, and the system may include voice or image processing as part of the control logic. A redundancy is used by using multiple sensors or actuators, or by using multiple data paths over the building or vehicle internal or external communication. The networks may be wired or wireless, and may be BAN, PAN, LAN, WAN, or home networks.
Drive configuration
Some embodiments are directed to a drive configuration for a skid-steered vehicle that has a pair of traction motors for rotationally driving opposite outputs of the drive configuration. The traction motors are operatively connected to the outputs via respective gearing arrangements for selectively varying gear reduction between each of the traction motors and the corresponding output. The drive configuration also has a steer differential in a torque connection with the first and second outputs of the drive configuration. The drive configuration additional has a steer motor operatively connected to the steer differential for selectively varying the rotational speed of the first and second outputs in use. Also, the traction and steer motors define a volume in which the gearing arrangements and steering differential are at least partially located.
THERMAL MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRIC MACHINE OF ELECTRIFIED VEHICLE
This disclosure relates to thermal management for an electric machine, such as an electric motor, of an electrified vehicle. An example assembly includes a stator having a core and a jacket at least partially surrounding the core. The jacket radially encloses a slot and is configured to permit fluid to flow within the slot from a first face of the stator to a second face of the stator. The assembly further includes a first end cover covering the first face of the stator. The first end cover has an inlet port and is configured to direct fluid from the inlet into the slot. Further, the assembly includes a second end cover covering the second face of the stator and configured to direct fluid that exits the slot.

Robotic base with controlled movement for surgical procedures
The invention involves a system and method for controlling the movements of a multi-axis robot to perform a surgery at least on the spinal area of a human in vivo. The system includes controls and software coding to cause the robot to move in desired patterns to complete the surgery, which may include bone, disc and tissue removal, and may also include insertion of hardware for fusing adjacent bony structures.

AUTOMATIC GEARBOX FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AS WELL AS A MOTOR VEHICLE
An automatic gearbox for a motor vehicle includes a lubricating or cooling device, a hydraulic pump having a first pump connection via which, in a forward operation of the hydraulic pump, the lubricating or cooling device can be supplied with a hydraulic fluid conveyed by the hydraulic pump during forward operation and thus flows through the first pump connection, and with a parking lock, which can be moved between an engaged state and a disengaged state and has a first operating space, into which the hydraulic fluid conveyed by the hydraulic pump during forward operation can be introduced so that the parking lock is hydraulically operable and an adjustment of the parking lock from one of the states into the other state can thereby be effected.
Drive device
In a drive device, a first flow path of a fluid connects a gear accommodation portion and an inlet of a pump. A second flow path connects an outlet of the pump and one end of a third flow path via a cooler. The third flow path is inside a partition wall of a housing and intersects a rotation axis of a first shaft. A fourth flow path connects another end of the third flow path and one end of a fifth flow path. The fifth flow path is inside a gear side lid of the housing. Another end of the fifth flow path is connected to one end of a second shaft in an axial direction. One end of a sixth flow path is connected to another end of the third flow path. Another end of the sixth flow path is inside a housing tubular portion.
