DETECTION OF DISEASES VIRUSES AND OTHER BIOLOGICAL INFECTIONS
The purpose of the invention is to provide rapid non contact detection of diseases, viruses, and other biological infections.
A method of detecting diseases, viruses, and other biological infections is disclosed. The method comprises a gas analyzer detecting the chemical release emitted from a living body. The gas analyzer is an optical sensor and is located near the target. The gas analyzer then processes the readings using internal software to give an instant value of the concentration of the target gas. The gas analyzer would then output a signal indicating the presence of the gas. The gas analyzer can also incorporate a video camera for aiming purposes and recording images.
Granzyme B Directed Imaging and Therapy
Provided herein are compounds useful for imaging granzyme B. An exemplary compound provided herein is useful as a radiotracer for position emission tomography (PET) and/or single photon emission tomography (SPECT) imaging. Methods of imaging granzyme B, combination therapies, and kits comprising the granzyme B imaging agents are also provided.
PERSONALIZED AVATAR RESPONSIVE TO USER PHYSICAL STATE AND CONTEXT
Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate providing guidance to a user during performance of a program or routine using a personalized avatar. In an aspect, a system includes a reception component configured to receive biochemical information about a physiological state or condition of a user, including information identifying a presence or a status of one or more biomarkers. The system further includes an analysis component configured to determine or infer one or more characteristics of the physiological state or condition of the user based on the information identifying the presence or the status of the one or more biomarkers, and a visualization component configured to adapt an appearance of an avatar presented to the user based on the one or more characteristics to reflect the one or more characteristics.

PET EVALUATION AND TRIAGE SYSTEM
A system is provided to provide triage recommendations for animals. The system accesses a syndrome mapping of syndromes to complaints, each syndrome having a triage category. The system accesses a complaint mapping of complaints to symptoms. Each symptom for a complaint has a weight. The system receives indications of a current complaint and current symptoms of an animal. Each current symptom has a score. The system identifies the triage category based on a syndrome to which the current complaint and the current symptoms apply, factoring in the weights and the scores. The system provides a recommendation for the animal based on the identified triage category.
Methods for Detecting A Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Infection
Methods for detecting an immune response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis are provided. Aspects of the methods include contacting a biological sample comprising T cells from a subject with at least one M. tuberculosis peptide and determining the presence of T cells in the biological sample that specifically recognize the amino acid sequence of the at least one peptide, wherein the presence of T cells that specifically recognize the amino acid sequence of the at least one peptide indicates the subject has an immune response to M. tuberculosis. In certain aspects, the methods of the present disclosure may include treating a subject identified as having an immune response to M. tuberculosis. Also provided are a skin test and immunoassay kits for practicing the disclosed methods.
RADIOMETRIC CAMERA WITH BLACK BODY ELEMENTS FOR SCREENING INFECTIOUS DISEASE CARRIERS AND METHOD FOR CALIBRATING A THERMAL CAMERA HAVING INTERNAL BLACK BODY ELEMENTS
A radiometric camera having internal black body components and a method for calibrating a radiometric camera having internal black body components. A radiometric camera includes a detector, the detector further including a thermal detector configured to capture thermal images, wherein the thermal detector is pointed in a direction, wherein the radiometric camera is adapted to receive at least one black body element in front of the detector with respect to the direction of the thermal detector, the thermal detector having a plurality of portions including at least one first portion, wherein the at least one black body element affects radiation readings by the at least one first portion of a plurality of portions of the thermal detector when disposed in the radiometric camera.
Peptide compositions and methods of use thereof
Described herein are membrane permeabilizing peptides and antimicrobial peptides, polynucleotides encoding the peptides, and compositions containing the peptides. Furthermore, described herein are methods for using the peptides, polynucleotides, and compositions for research, diagnosis, and therapy.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REPRESENTING AN ARRANGED LIST OF PROVIDER ALIMENT POSSIBILITIES
A system for representing an arranged list of provider aliment possibilities, the system including a computing device designed and configured to receive an input representing an autoimmune disorder; identify a marker of the user relating to the autoimmune disorder; detect a trigger pattern as a function of the marker; determine, as a function of the trigger pattern, an aliment instruction set, wherein determining includes identifying at least a probable event as a function of the trigger pattern; and determining the aliment instruction set as a function of the at least a probable event; and represent the aliment instruction set on a display.
SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR IMMUNE SYSTEM EVALUATION
A system and process for immune system evaluation includes sensors such as a blood analysis sensor, a computing device communicably connected with a communications network, an application configured for: detecting a current status and a current health of the patient's immune system, detecting a percentage of the patient's immune system that is currently operating, identifying vitamins and minerals that are currently in low quantities in the patient's blood, such that replacement of said vitamins and minerals would strengthen the patient's immune system, providing product purchase suggestions to the patient based on the vitamins and minerals that were identified above for strengthening the patient's immune system; and executing an online sale of the vitamins and minerals that were identified above for strengthening the patient's immune system.
