Multi-stream data collection system for noninvasive measurement of blood constituents
The present disclosure relates to noninvasive methods, devices, and systems for measuring various blood constituents or analytes, such as glucose. In an embodiment, a light source comprises LEDs and super-luminescent LEDs. The light source emits light at at least wavelengths of about 1610 nm, about 1640 nm, and about 1665 nm. In an embodiment, the detector comprises a plurality of photodetectors arranged in a special geometry comprising one of a substantially linear substantially equal spaced geometry, a substantially linear substantially non-equal spaced geometry, and a substantially grid geometry.
Patient proximity-modulated specific absorption rate
A method of operating a magnetic resonance imaging system (10) includes adjusting a radio frequency excitation field B1 to be applied to a subject of interest (20) to be imaged. At least one position parameter (d) that is indicative of a position of at least the portion of the subject of interest (20) relative to at least one radio frequency transmit antenna (36) of the magnetic resonance imaging system (10) is determined. At least one radio frequency power-related parameter of radio frequency power to be fed to the at least one radio frequency transmit antenna (36) is adjusted in dependence of the at least one of the determined at least one position parameter (d) and a determined geometric dimension (w) of the subject of interest (20).
Method and measuring system for continuously determining the intra-arterial blood pressure
The invention describes a measuring system for the continuous non-invasive determination of blood pressure at one or more fingers. The fingers chosen for measurement and the adjacent parts of the palm rest on a supporting surface of a housing, which has the shape of a computer mouse. Inside the housing of the “CNAP Mouse”, i.e. underneath the supporting surface for the hand, the pressure generating system is located. The finger sensors are mounted on the supporting surface for the hand. The forearm and the back of the hand are left free and may be used to place intra-venous or intra-arterial access elements. Since the hand will rest on the supporting surface motion artefacts are largely avoided. Tilting or turning of the sensors is hardly possible since the fit of the sensors and thus the coupling of light and pressure are optimized.
POSITION ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING POSITION OF DETECTION DEVICE AND MAGNETOCARDIOGRAPHY INSTRUMENT
A position adjustment apparatus for adjusting a position of a detection device, and a magnetocardiography instrument are provided. The position adjustment apparatus includes: two support assemblies, a lifting frame, and at least one height adjustment assembly. The position adjustment apparatus of the present disclosure enables free control over the height of the lifting frame by providing support rods and the height adjustment assembly comprising a pulley block.
Personalized patient positioning, verification and treatment
A patient's healthcare experience may be enhanced utilizing a system that automatically recognizes the patient based on one or more images of the patient and generates personalized medical assistance information for the patient based on electronic medical records stored for the patient. Such electronic medical records may comprise imagery data and/or non-imagery associated with a medical procedure performed or to be performed for the patient. As such, the imagery and/or non-imagery data may be incorporated into the personalized medical assistance information to provide positioning and/or other types of diagnostic or treatment guidance to the patient or a service provider.
BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A biological information measurement system includes: a measurement unit configured to measure brain neural activity, based on biological signal detected by a plurality of sensors arranged in a cover member configured to cover a head of a subject; N image capturing units configured to each acquire an image including at least three reference points on the subject and the cover member; and a positional relationship determination unit configure to determine a positional relationship among a plurality of reference points on the subject and the plurality of sensors, based on positional relationship data among the plurality of reference points and the cover member, obtained based on N pieces of image data obtained from the image capturing units. An angle between image capturing directions of two image capturing units among the N image capturing units is larger than zero degree and smaller than 90 degrees.
Electronic device that computes health data
An electronic device includes a camera, an ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. The electronic device uses one or more of the camera and the proximity sensor to emit light into a body part of a user touching a surface of the electronic device and one or more of the camera, the ambient light sensor, and the proximity sensor to receive at least part of the emitted light reflected by the body part of the user. The electronic device computes health data of the user based upon sensor data regarding the received light. In some implementations, the electronic device may also include one or more electrical contacts that contact one or more body parts of the user. In such implementations, the health data may be further computed based on the an electrical measurement obtained using the electrical contacts.
ORAL FIXATION APPARATUS
An oral fixation apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a mouthpiece provided to be mounted in a mouth, and a pressing unit configured to move relative to the mouthpiece, wherein the pressing unit is configured to press a tongue in the mouth to any one side in the mouth. Through this configuration, the oral fixation apparatus may maintain the same intraoral state. The oral fixation apparatus may be stably mounted inside the mouth, such that radiation therapy may be effectively and stably performed.
