SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCS THERAPY OPTIMIZATION
A system may include a neuromodulator and a processing system. The neuromodulator may be configured to be programmed with a set of more than one program to deliver neuromodulation. The processing system may be configured to: receive sensed data indicative of activity, motion and/or posture of a patient; analyze the activity, motion and/or posture of the patient; and perform a process, based on the analyzed activity, motion and/or posture, for switching from one program in the set of more than one program to another program from the set of more than one program. The process may include automatically implementing the other program from the set of more than one program or suggesting to switch to the other program from the set of more than one program.

Sleep tracking systems and techniques for monitoring two or more co-sleepers in a single bed are disclosed. Such systems and techniques may incorporate sleeper identification, as well as various non-user-specific aspects. Some implementations may incorporate user-specific or user-tailored alarm functionality.
System and method for improving the emotional mindset of the user
A system for improving an emotional mindset of a person, the system includes a server to receive and process data; a computing device in data communication with the server; one or more software rules implemented through the server and computing device; a platform implemented through the computing device, the platform to perform the steps of: receive a user identified need; a meditation packet created by the computing device, server, and one or more software rules, the meditation packet having resources complied based on the user identified need, the meditation packet to aid the user with the user identified need; the meditation packet is provided to the user through the platform.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EFFECTIVE AUDIBLE ALARM SETTINGS
A method for assisting a user in selecting audible alarm settings of a patient monitoring system for monitoring a patient is provided. A synthesis model is generated in response to 1) data indicative of audio features derived from audio recorded in the patient room, and 2) data indicative of vital signs recorded from the patient monitoring system. Sets of audio parameters indicative of respective plurality of audible alarm settings are then processed according to the synthesis model so as to generate respective outputs, e.g. indicative of audibility of the plurality of alarm sounds according to the audible alarm settings synthesized to be played in or outside the patient room. These outputs can then be presented to a user, so as to allow the user to evaluate e.g. alarm audibility and noise level impact of the plurality of audible alarm settings, and e.g. adjust the settings accordingly, such as alarm thresholds etc. The synthesis model may comprise an auralization module, so as to generate synthesized audio outputs to the user. The synthesis model may take into account actual room acoustics in or outside the patient room, so as to allow a precise calculation and/or audio synthesis of an alarm sound to be played in the environment. Alternatively, or additionally, the systhesis model can generate objective and/or subjective metrics that allows the user to find a suitable balance between alarm audibility and impact on noise level.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PREDICTING ATRIAL ARRHYTHMIA
Systems and methods for assessing a cardiac arrhythmia risk of a patient, such as a risk for developing atrial fibrillation, are disclosed. An exemplary medical-device system includes a risk stratifier circuit configured to, in an absence of prior and present atrial arrhythmia, determine a composite risk of the patient developing a future atrial arrhythmia using a trained machine-learning model and a plurality of features of physiological information sensed from the patient and an arrhythmia monitor circuit configured to adjust an arrhythmia monitoring parameter based at least in part on the composite risk and to detect an atrial arrhythmia event using the adjusted arrhythmia monitoring parameter.
Non-Invasive continuous and adaptive health monitoring eco-system
An eco-system for tracking a user's physiological parameters comprises a central sensor and at least one remote sensor in wireless communication with the central sensor, a portable device readily accessible to the user, and a cloud platform. Each sensor may be worn by the user and measure data indicative of one or more of the physiological parameters. The central sensor may receive and process the measured data from each remote sensor and processes its own measured data. The portable device comprises a receiver wirelessly receiving the processed data and instructions from the central sensor; a processor running a mobile application handling the processed data and instructions; and a transmitter transmitting the processed data. The cloud platform receives the processed data from the transmitter; analyzes the received processed data; and transmits the results of the analysis to at least one of the portable device and an authorized healthcare entity.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, ANALYZING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An image processing system includes an acquiring section that acquires biological information on a user who makes an image processing apparatus execute a job and operation information on the image processing apparatus with the biological information changing depending on a state of the user, an analysis section that analyzes stress of the user concerning use of the image processing apparatus, based on the biological information and the operation information, and an output section that outputs an analysis result obtained by the analysis section.
Method and circuit for storing and providing historical physiological data
Embodiments of the present invention include systems and methods that relate to pulse oximetry. Specifically, one embodiment includes an oximeter sensor comprising a light emitting element configured to emit light, a light detector configured to detect the light, and a memory chip having a built-in trimmed resistor, the trimmed resistor having a resistance value that is detectable by a monitor.
Remote delivery and monitoring of health care
Various embodiments for providing remote delivery and monitoring of health care are provided. In one embodiment, an apparatus for providing unmanned medical care in remote areas to a patient is provided. A container is adapted for transport using a standardized shipping mechanism. The container is adapted to provide remote delivery of health care. In an additional embodiment, a portable apparatus for dermatological monitoring is provided. An imaging device is integrated into a housing. The imaging device is adapted to obtain a digital, high-resolution image of a patient. In still another embodiment, a portable apparatus for orthopedic monitoring of a patient is provided. A housing is adapted for one of positioning adjacent to and positioning within an orthopedic cast. A diagnostic biomedical device integrated into the housing. The diagnostic biomedical device is adapted for obtaining an orthopedic image of a portion of the patient treated with the orthopedic cast.
METHOD FOR ARCHIVING A PARTICULAR EVENT IN A LIFE OF A WEARER OF A CONNECTED WATCH
A method for archiving a particular event in a life of a wearer of a connected watch. The method includes: tracking at least one category of emotional factor of the wearer; diffusing, by the connected watch to the wearer, a notification of detection of the particular event to the wearer based on a change in the tracked at least one category of emotional factor of the wearer occurring; designing, in response to the notification, a multimedia message relating to the particular event; and sending the multimedia message to a database of a server configured to archive messages, including the multimedia message, that relate to particular events of the wearer.
