The system may include a drive system configured for a positive drive for propelling the vehicle along the circuit, wherein, at least on sections extending along the circuit, the drive system has first and second engagement members. The first engagement member may have a first projection and an adjacent second projection on at least sections of the circuit and, between the first and adjacent second projections, grooves, which are each bounded by the first and adjacent second projections. The first engagement member may have one or more openings, of which at least one through-opening is formed between the first and adjacent second projections. Through the through-opening may engage a connecting member configured for connecting the first engagement member with the rail for attachment to the rail.
Recovery device for an amusement ride
A fairground ride may include a support structure, at least one vehicle having a passenger receptacle, and at least one guideway which is attached to the support structure and forms a circuit, wherein the guideway is adapted to guide the vehicle along the circuit. The fairground ride may also include at least one drive member which is adapted to move the vehicle along the circuit; and at least one recovery apparatus, which has an operating range. The guideway may be disposed at least section-wise on a substantially vertical area, each point of the normal vector of which is perpendicular to the vertical axis of the support structure, and the operating range of the recovery apparatus may substantially cover the vertical area.

AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM
A container handling vehicle includes a lower part and an upper part. The lower part includes a width and a length that form a vehicle footprint of the container handling vehicle; and a storage space configured to accommodate a storage container. The lower part includes a first set of wheels oriented in a first vertical plane and a second set of wheels oriented in a second vertical plane orthogonal to the first vertical plane. The lower part includes a first set of vertical side walls that are co-planar to the first vertical plane, and a second set of vertical side walls that are co-planar to the second vertical plane. The first set of wheels, the second set of wheels, the first set of vertical side walls, and the second set of vertical side walls are arranged such that the lower part of the container handling vehicle has a cuboid shape. The upper part is disposed vertically above the lower part, and includes a protruding section and a recessed section. The protruding section is configured to extend beyond the lower part. The recessed section has a shape complimentary to the protruding section such that the recessed section is configured to receive other protruding sections of other container handling vehicles.
