CABLE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A cable transportation system comprising: a first terminal station; a second terminal station; a plurality of transporting units moved between the terminal stations; at least one supporting cable for supporting the transporting units between the terminal stations; wherein the supporting cable comprises a first end housed inside the first terminal station and a second end housed inside the second terminal station; a first anchor device for anchoring the first end of the supporting cable inside the first terminal station; a second anchor device for anchoring the second end of the supporting cable inside the second terminal station; wherein the anchor devices are configured to selectively block the ends of the supporting cable inside the respective terminal stations and to enable a stepped sliding of the supporting cable between the terminal stations.
TROLLEY FOR SUPPORTING TRANSPORTING UNITS SUSPENDED FROM A GUIDE OF A TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM COMPRISING SUCH A TROLLEY
A trolley for supporting transporting units of a transportation system, wherein the transporting units are supported suspended from a guide defining a direction of movement; the trolley comprising: a frame; rolls supported by the frame and configured for resting and rolling on the guide; a suspending arm for supporting the transporting units, wherein the suspending arm pivots constrained to the frame about the direction of movement between a first and a second angular position; a rotation limiting device selectively operable for limiting or blocking the rotation of the suspending arm with respect to the frame.
Electrified-Cable System for Carriage Transit and Method of Making Same
An electrified-cable system is disclosed herein. The system includes first and second wires each having a longitudinally-extending uninsulated region comprising at least a portion of the circumference of the first wire, and a longitudinally-extending insulated region comprising the remaining circumference of the first wire, and an insulating connector that couples the insulated region of the first wire to the insulated region of the second wire. The system is configured to form an electrical circuit from the first wire to the second wire through a carriage in electrical contact with the uninsulated region of the first wire and the uninsulated region of the second wire. A corresponding method is also disclosed.

CIRCULAR CABLEWAY
A circular cableway includes a control on a cableway vehicle and a control guide device in at least one cableway station configured to interact with the control during movement of the cableway vehicle to generate a deflection force to pivot at least one cable clamp of the cableway vehicle transversely to the direction of movement of the cableway vehicle at a fixed deflection angle about a first axis of rotation, wherein the control guide device is arranged relative to an actuating device of the cableway station, which actuating device is provided for actuating the cable clamp to generate the deflection force in a defined temporal relation to the actuation of the at least one cable clamp.
ROPE MANAGEMENT APPARATUS
A redirect, being a type of rope management apparatus is disclosed. The redirect includes a sheave assembly that includes a plurality of sheaves disposed for rotation about parallel axes. It also includes a mounting assembly that is suitable for connection to a support. The mounting assembly and the sheave assembly are interconnected by a hinge arrangement such that they can be pivoted with respect to one another about one or more axis that is generally normal to the axes of rotation of the sheaves. The redirect may be used in a rigging assembly, typically in pairs, to perform winching, lifting or traversing operations.
