Cable car system
A cable car system has vehicles which are coupled to a conveying cable between stations. The vehicles are decoupled from the conveying cable in the stations and are moved through the stations along guide rails. The vehicles are formed with current collectors and the stations have associated power rails. In at least one of the vehicles there is located a circuit with at least one electrical load which is supplied with electrical energy via the current collector and the power rails. At least one second circuit with at least one further electrical load is located in at least one vehicle. The second circuit is supplied with electrical energy via a single further current collector and a power rail assigned thereto. The two circuits are connected to a common current collector to which a single power rail is assigned.
CABLE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A cable transportation system comprising: at least a cable; an upstream station and a downstream station between which the cable extends; a plurality of supporting intermediate structures for supporting the cable between the upstream station and the downstream station; a plurality of transporting units coupled above the cable in a configuration suspended in the void and free to swing; an alarm device configured for detecting the contact between the transporting units and the supporting intermediate structures when a threshold tilting angle of the transporting units is exceeded and for emitting a relative alarm signal.
System for supplying at least one electrical load or energy storage device with direct current
A system for supplying at least one electrical load or energy storage device with direct current by way of a plurality of electrical generators that are mounted to at rollers, in particular track rollers or support rollers, of a cable car system. The output of each of the generators leads to a respective AC/DC converter. All AC/DC converters are controlled or regulated by a control unit to the extent that at least approximately identical constant voltages are present at their outputs. The outputs of all AC/DC converters are connected to one another and are connected to the at least one load or energy storage device.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A CABLE CAR SYSTEM AND CABLE CAR SYSTEM FOR CARRYING OUT THIS OPERATING METHOD
A cable car system has at least two cable car stations and at least one carrying cable between the stations. A cable car vehicle is moved by a hauling cable between the car stations. The travelling positions of the vehicle along the travelling route are determined by a measuring device and transmitted to a control unit and processed and stored in same. A signal is input into the control unit by an input device located on a cable car support such that maintenance or assembly works and similar are carried out on this cable car support. When a cable car vehicle approaches the cable car support, the drive for moving the at least one cable car vehicle is controlled by the control unit such that the cable car vehicle is moved at a significantly reduced speed in relation to the operating speed, or is stopped at the cable car support.

CABLE CAR VERTICAL LOOP TRANSPORT SYSTEM
A system, method and device for moving gondola cabins in a single vertical loop so as to pass above and below with end stations turning wheels placed vertically. The hauling ropes operate in a vertical loop and permit the vertical circulation of the cabins between stations with passenger boarding and deboarding of the cabins in the stations at two different levels. The system may be twinned to provide two parallel, horizontally adjacent systems operating on common towers to double the capacity of a single system. Both the single and twinned systems possess a smaller footprint than conventional horizontal transport systems.

GRAPPLE CARRIAGE
A skyline log conveying system having a skyline for extending between two elevated supports, one at or above a landing at which logs are deposited and another at a lower position at least as low as an area from which logs are to be moved. A carriage is rollably mounted to the skyline. A grapple is suspended from the carriage, the grapple having closed and opened positions for grasping and releasing logs. A hydraulic pump is mounted to the carriage. A rotatable member is driven by the skyline with the rolling of the carriage on the skyline for driving the hydraulic pump to generate hydraulic pressure. At least one accumulator is in hydraulic communication with the hydraulic pump, the at least one accumulator capable of storing pressure when hydraulic pressure is transmitted to it by the hydraulic pump. A hydraulic ram is hydraulically interconnected with the at least one accumulator and mounted to the grapple to selectively close the grapple to facilitate the grasping of logs.
