TANDEM PULLEY
20200385028 · 2020-12-10 · ·

A tandem pulley includes a support bracket having the shape of an inverted U. The support bracket defines a through hole. A pair of sheaves is arranged in line inside the support bracket. Each sheave is mounted rotating freely around a spindle fixed to the support bracket. A carabiner is fitted in the through hole. A connector is configured to connect the support bracket with the carabiner. The connector is configured in such a way as to allow rotation of the carabiner around an axis parallel to the spindles of the pair of sheaves. A spring is connected to the support bracket, the spring being arranged to exert a force on the carabiner biasing the latter to a rest position by rotation of the carabiner.

For travel on a cable, the zipline trolley includes a wheel, a brake, a frame, a hanger, and a lower slot. The wheel is disposed on a proximal end of a frame. The wheel includes a groove that receives a cable at a lower portion of the wheel and a wheel bearing. The brake is disposed on a distal end of the frame. The brake is connected to a given lever point and includes a groove along a brake bottom that receives the cable. The frame includes an array of lever points disposed between the brake and the wheel. The hanger is connected to a given lever point and suspends a weight. The weight applies a force about the wheel to the brake to control a rate of descent of the device along the cable. The lower slot receives the cable.

The invention relates to a tire conveyor for a transport device, in particular gondolas, of a cable car installation. The conveyor includes tires, which are arranged along a track, and a drive train for the tires. The drive train has at least one drive pulley, in particular a belt pulley, and at least one drive device, in particular a belt. A guide is arranged along the track, at least in some sections, and at least one measurement device for measuring at least one property of the drive train or a component of the drive train is displaceable on the guide.

STOP FOR A RAIL
20200255036 · 2020-08-13 ·

A stop for stopping a trolley on a rail is described. The trolley comprises a set of wheels, including a first wheel and the rail provides, at least in part, a running surface, including a first portion and a second portion thereof, for the first wheel. The stop comprises an actuator providing a third portion of the running surface between the first portion and the second portion and an arm, coupled to the actuator. The stop is arrangeable in a first configuration, wherein the arm is arranged to block the trolley therepast. The stop is arrangeable in a second configuration, wherein the arm is arranged to allow the trolley therepast. The stop is arranged to move from the first configuration to the second configuration by actuation of the actuator, preferably by a movement of the actuator in a direction transverse to the third portion of the running surface.

Cable car system

A cable car system has vehicles which are coupled to a conveying cable between stations. The vehicles are decoupled from the conveying cable in the stations and are moved through the stations along guide rails. The vehicles are formed with current collectors and the stations have associated power rails. In at least one of the vehicles there is located a circuit with at least one electrical load which is supplied with electrical energy via the current collector and the power rails. At least one second circuit with at least one further electrical load is located in at least one vehicle. The second circuit is supplied with electrical energy via a single further current collector and a power rail assigned thereto. The two circuits are connected to a common current collector to which a single power rail is assigned.
