Funicular driven by a cable with two towing sections and method for controlling such a funicular
A funicular intended particularly for transporting heavy loads between an upstream station (10) and a downstream station (12), comprises a track (14), preferably a railway, connecting the upstream station (10) to the downstream station (12), a vehicle (16) running on the track (14) and at least one towing cable (30) in closed loop having a first towing section (32.1) passing over a first pulley (20.1) of the upstream station and over a first return pulley (26) fixed to the vehicle (16) and a second towing section (32.2), in all ways separate from the first towing section and passing over the return pulley (26) and over a second pulley (20.2) of the upstream station (10).
Device for replacing roller sets
A device replaces roller sets on pylons of cable cars. The device contains a replacing vehicle which can be moved along a cable of the cable car and at least two winches having cables by which the roller set to be replaced can be lowered and a new roller set can be raised. The replacing vehicle contains at least two interconnected vehicles which by way of clamps are connected to the cable.
CABLE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING PEOPLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A cable transportation system extends along a track and has two haul cables driven respectively by respective motors and having respective mutually aligned end portions; a vehicle with two clamping devices configured to attach the vehicle to the haul cables; a passenger station at the end sections of the haul cables; two control cams arranged respectively at the end sections of the haul cables; and two actuators configured to bring the control cams into an operating position to open the clamping devices and into a resting position in which they do not interfere with the clamping devices, the control cams being spaced apart by a distance equal to the distance between the clamping devices in such a way that when the clamping device is at the control cam, the clamping device is at the control cam.

ROPE MANAGEMENT APPARATUS
A redirect, being a type of rope management apparatus is disclosed. The redirect includes a sheave assembly that includes a plurality of sheaves disposed for rotation about parallel axes. It also includes a mounting assembly that is suitable for connection to a support. The mounting assembly and the sheave assembly are interconnected by a hinge arrangement such that they can be pivoted with respect to one another about one or more axis that is generally normal to the axes of rotation of the sheaves. The redirect may be used in a rigging assembly, typically in pairs, to perform winching, lifting or traversing operations.
