Gangway arrangement, intended to equip a public transport jointed vehicle, in particular a railway vehicle
A gangway arrangement can be laid out between two bodies of a public transport jointed vehicle, such as a railway vehicle. The gangway arrangement includes at least one seat for at least one passenger. The gangway arrangement can be connected through a pivot connection to the end portion of one of the bodies. The end portion includes an access corridor delimited by two opposite edges. The seat has an end extending to one of the edges when the gangway arrangement is connected to the body. An angular spacing is provided between the end of the seat and the edge, when the longitudinal direction is aligned with the longitudinal axis of the corresponding body. This angular spacing is relative to the pivot connection, and corresponds to the angle formed between the longitudinal axis of the body and the longitudinal direction when the tilt between both bodies is maximum.
VEHICLE
Provided is a vehicle including the following: a vehicle body having side walls on both sides in a width direction that is perpendicular to the direction of travel, and having an expanded portion between the upper end and the lower end of the side wall, the expanded portion being expanded further outward in the width direction than the upper end and the lower end; and a seat provided in the vehicle body and having a seatback along the side wall and a seat surface that extends inward in the width direction of the vehicle body from the seatback, the portion of the rear surface of the seatback that faces the side wall and that protrudes the farthest towards the side wall being disposed in a position facing the expanded portion of an in-vehicle-side lateral surface of the side wall.

High Speed Train System
A long distance transit system for transferring passengers at a high rate of speed, the transit system comprises at least one mainline train, at least one station train, a rail system having at least one station with at least one mainline track and at least one station line. At least one mainline train travels exclusively on the at least one mainline track and the at least one station train travels on at least one station line. At least one mainline train travels at a consistent speed on at least one mainline track. At least one station train travels from at least one station to at least one mainline track reaching a speed substantially equal to that of the at least one mainline train and traveling adjacent thereto.
RAILCAR
A railcar includes a floor structure including: an underframe including a pair of side sills and a plurality of cross beams arranged between the pair of side sills; a plurality of floor panel receivers located above the cross beams, arranged with gaps in a car width direction, extending along the cross beams, and fixed to the cross beams; one or more seat receivers extending through the gaps in a car longitudinal direction and fixed to the cross beams; and floor panels covering substantially entire surfaces of upper portions of the floor panel receivers and an upper portion(s) of the one or more seat receivers from above and supported by the cross beams through the floor panel receivers and the one or more seat receivers.
RAILROAD CAR
A railroad car includes a control system. In order to obtain a space-saving configuration of the control system of the railroad car, the control system includes a plurality of functional modules, each having a housing with at least one externally accessible electrical interface and being disposed decentrally with respect to each other.
Rail Vehicle and Manufacturing Method for Rail Vehicle
A rail vehicle has a return flow path structure formed by a lower tube portion, an upper tube portion, a seat, and an opening or a notch of a seat base. When air flows from the inside of a vehicle cabin to an exhaust port connected to an exhaust air flow path under a floor via the return flow path structure, a direction of a flow passing between an outer periphery of the lower tube portion and an inner periphery of the upper tube portion is opposite to a direction of a flow passing through an inner side of the lower tube portion.

BACKREST, VEHICLE, AND GUIDE TRACK TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A backrest includes a panel-shaped base member that is provided along a main surface which includes a reference line extending in a direction intersecting a floor surface of a vehicle, and a retaining member that is provided on a front surface of the base member and that has a front surface which has a curved surface shape in a state in which the retaining member is supporting a load in a direction toward the main surface. Due to this configuration, the retaining member presents a curved surface shape due to the load of a standing passenger when the passenger leans against the backrest, and thereby the passenger's body can be stably retained.
Overhead rail guidance and signaling system
An overhead railway and trolley for transporting miners out of a mine. The railway is formed by connected rails that are mounted to a roof of a mine. The trolley is mounted to a bottom flange of the rails and includes wheel assemblies having at least two wheels mounted side-by-side, and each is configured to engage and roll along a top surface of the bottom flange. The trolley has a clicker that is configured to engage protrusions extending away from the bottom flange. The clicker permits the trolley to travel out of the mine but prevents it from traveling into the mine. The trolley also includes a pair of handles that are configured to be gripped by a miner standing on a floor of the mine as he travels from the beginning of the railway to the ending (i.e., the egress direction).
