External sliding threshold assembly for vehicle doors
A threshold assembly for a vehicle door includes an external sliding threshold configured to be coupled with an exterior surface of a vehicle having a doorway. The external sliding threshold is configured to extend over the doorway to provide a threshold surface on which one or more passengers enter the vehicle via the doorway or exit the vehicle via the doorway. The external sliding threshold laterally projects from the exterior surface of the vehicle to reduce or eliminate a spatial gap between the vehicle and a platform from which the one or more passengers enter the vehicle or onto which the one or more passengers exit the vehicle.
BOARDING SYSTEM, HAVING SLIDING FOOTSTEP AND ACTIVE SEAL
A boarding system for a passenger transport vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle includes: a door portal via which a floor of a passenger space of the vehicle is accessible, a door leaf with which a predominant area of a door opening is closed, a step with a step tread surface, which is arranged below the floor in the vertical direction and, in the horizontal direction, extends from the door opening to a vertical surface connecting the step tread surface and the floor, and an extendable sliding tread, which is arranged below the door leaf in the area of the door portal and which has a horizontally oriented tread surface and, at its end facing towards the door leaf, a vertically oriented front wall.
A movable sealing member is provided which, in the intermediate position of the sliding tread, forms a seal against an adjacent passive sealing surface.

COMPACT POWER RUNNING BOARD
A compact deployable/retractable running board assembly for a motor vehicle including a running board, linkage coupled to the running board, and a motor assembly coupled to an actuator, the running board moveable between at least one stowed position and at least one deployed position. The linkage includes a drive arm connected to a pivot shaft within a housing at a location on the pivot shaft between two bushings that are coupled to the pivot shaft within the housing. The linkage also includes an idler arm connected to a pivot shaft within an idler housing. The actuator is operably coupled to the linkage to cause rotation of the linkage to move the running board between the at least one stowed position generally under the motor vehicle and at least one deployed position to provide a step surface for a user.

RAIL TRANSPORT SYSTEM
The present disclosure discloses a rail vehicle. The rail vehicle includes: a plurality of bogies, where the bogie has a straddle recess suitable for straddling a rail; and a vehicle body, where the vehicle body is connected to the plurality of bogies and pulled by the plurality of bogies to travel along the rail, and the vehicle body includes a plurality of compartments hinged sequentially along a length direction of the rail; the plurality of compartments forms at least one compartment group, the compartment group includes three compartments hinged sequentially, and the bottom of each of only compartments that are located at two ends of the compartment group and that are of the three compartments is connected to the bogie; and in the length direction of the rail, a surface that is of a compartment at at least one end of the vehicle body and that faces away from an adjacent compartment is provided with an escape door that can be opened and closed. The rail vehicle according to this embodiment of the present disclosure facilitates optimization of the structure of an escape passage, reduction in occupied space and the weight borne by the rail, and improvement in stability, and is flexible in steering and low in costs.

RAIL VEHICLE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A RAIL VEHICLE, AND USE OF A SCISSOR MECHANISM IN A BOARDING ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a rail vehicle. The rail vehicle comprises at least one rail vehicle outer wall. The rail vehicle further comprises a boarding arrangement having at least one first sliding step and one second sliding step. The first sliding step and the second sliding step are mounted so as to be laterally sliding. The first sliding step and the second sliding step can slide from a travel position to an end position by a lateral retraction movement in the direction of the outer wall of the rail vehicle. In the end position, the second sliding step protrudes beyond the first sliding step.
