METHOD FOR OPERATING AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM ARRANGEMENT
20230356759 · 2023-11-09 ·

A method for operating an air conditioning system for a vehicle for transporting persons. The air conditioning system, depending on the current number of passengers in a passenger compartment of the vehicle (level of occupation), controls a fresh air volume flow to be introduced into the passenger compartment from outside the vehicle in order to maintain a predefined minimum ambient air quality. The air conditioning system determines a total water mass flow, which is currently produced by the passengers in the passenger compartment, on the basis of air-conditioning measurement values and a current value for at least one operating parameter of the air conditioning system. From the total water mass flow and a predefined value for a water mass flow produced by a single passenger, the system determines the current number of passengers in the passenger compartment. There is also described an air conditioning arrangement for carrying out the method.

AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides an interior decoration structure and a railway vehicle with the interior decoration structure. The interior decoration structure is located inside a vehicle body. The interior decoration structure includes: a plurality of interior decoration components, the plurality of interior decoration components being spliced inside the vehicle body in sequence, wherein at least one pair of two adjacent interior decoration components are connected by an inserted-connected structure. The interior decoration structure in the present disclosure solves the problem in the related art that interior decoration parts are prone to unstable connection due to a mounting mode of an interior decoration structure.

Mixer and assembly for air-conditioning a rail vehicle
11414103 · 2022-08-16 · ·

A mixer, which forms the core part of an air-conditioning assembly of a rail vehicle, has two inlets, an outlet, and a central region between the inlets and the outlet. A first inlet is connected to a fresh air supply, and a second inlet is connected to a circulating air supply such that fresh air and circulating air reach the central region, where the circulating air is mixed with the fresh air to obtain supply air. The central region is connected to the fresh air inlet via an opening, which forms a transition region between the fresh air inlet and the central region. The transition region contains a profiled section with a wing-shaped cross-section in the transition region where the supplied fresh air generates negative pressure along the transition region, and the circulating air is suctioned into the central region of the mixer with a boost from the negative pressure.

CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
20220212698 · 2022-07-07 ·

A climate control system for a vehicle is suitable for combustible coolants and is a compact device for installation on a vehicle roof. A directly evaporating system includes an electrical switch box inside a compact climate control device for the vehicle and is partitioned so that, in the event of relevant leakages of assemblies containing coolant, the assembly cannot come into contact with the combustible coolant and no ignitable mixture can occur in these areas. The electrical box is a closed assembly and is operatively connected to an assembly by which air from areas outside the segments containing coolant is guided into the electrical box in such a way that a positive pressure is created in the electrical box to prevent combustible coolant from flowing into the electrical box.

REFRIGERATION ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
20220080809 · 2022-03-17 ·

A refrigeration arrangement for traction vehicles includes a first closed circuit configured as a compression refrigeration machine containing a refrigerant as a first carrier medium, evaporator and condenser. The evaporator absorbs heat into the first circuit. The condenser transfers heat from the first circuit. The first circuit is coupled, via the evaporator, to a closed second circuit containing a liquid second carrier medium for heat transport. The second circuit, for cooling, takes heat and transfers it to the second carrier medium. The heat is conveyed, by the second carrier medium, to the evaporator for transfer to the first circuit. The first circuit is coupled, via the condenser, to a closed third circuit containing a liquid third carrier medium for heat transport. The third circuit causes heat from the first circuit, transferred into the third circuit by the condenser, to be transferred to surroundings with heat from traction systems.
