MONITORING SYSTEM AND CAMERA
A monitoring system is provided and includes a camera attached to a train car that takes an image of the vicinity of a door of the car, where a monitor displays a camera image taken by the camera and a dirt detection unit executes a dirt detection process for detecting dirt on the front glass of the camera. This configuration thereby allows the dirt detection unit to determine the execution timing for a dirt detection process on the basis of the train information that indicates the operational state of the train to execute the dirt detection process by using the camera image that has been obtained according to the execution timing.
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems and methods for maintaining railway situational awareness
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system for maintaining railway situational awareness, includes a ground station configured to be mounted to a train, a UAV including a sensor, a processor, and a memory. The sensor is configured to provide a signal indicative of condition and/or an event. The memory contains instructions, which, when executed by the processor, cause the system to: selectively deploy the UAV, from the ground station mounted to the train, receive the signal from the sensor; and determine a condition and/or an event, relative to the train, based on the sensed signal.
Automated Tie Marking
A system and method for automating railroad maintenance by a tie gang using electronic tie marking (ETM) configured to optimize railroad asset maintenance. The system enables collision avoidance between members of the tie gang performing maintenance on railway assets (e.g., Rails, Ties, Ballasts, Turnouts, Crossings, etc.). The system can generate production numbers for the railway assets and evaluate an asset queue for the tie gang to perform maintenance. The system can utilize real-time updates from the tie gang to optimize work output. The system can provide a customizable user interface to identify, track, and process information related to maintenance of the railroad asset. The system also provides for a heads-up-display (HUD) to notify an operator of relevant information, such as maintenance information, travel indicators, and updated asset queue. The system can identify a next location and calculate an optimum path based on sensor input incorporating machine-specific and environmental characteristics.
DISPLAYING A GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION OF INFORMATION BY MEANS OF MULTIPLE SUB-DISPLAYS
A display device for displaying a graphical representation of information. The display device includes a first interface for receiving the information via a first transfer path, a second interface for receiving the information via a second transfer path. A first sub-display is designed to display a first sub-region of the graphical representation using the information received by the first interface, and a second sub-display is designed to display a second sub-region of the graphical representation using the information received by the second interface. The first and second sub-display form a complete display which is configured to display the graphical representation. The first sub-display and the second sub-display are arranged one behind the other in a viewing direction.
DISPLAYING A GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION OF INFORMATION
A display device for displaying a graphical representation of information includes a first interface for receiving the information via a first transmission path and a second interface for receiving the information via a second transmission path. The display device is designed to provide a first part of a complete display of the graphical representation using the information received by the first interface in a first color and to provide a second part of the complete display of the graphical representation using the information received by the second interface in a second color. The graphical representation is displayed in a complete color to a viewer, with the complete color being formed by adding the first and second colors to one another.
Method for displaying information for a user of a vehicle
A method for displaying information for a user of a vehicle by means of a projection system, which has a projection unit, a control device, a first projection field, and at least one second projection field, wherein the information is transferred from the control device to the projection unit, and wherein the projection system is switched over from a first beam path, in the case of which light beams produced by the projection unit are directed onto the first projection field, to a second beam path, in the case of which light beams produced by the projection unit are directed onto the at least one second projection field, in accordance with the current position of a seat of the user, the light beams produced by the projection unit being deflected to a field of view of the user by the at least one second projection field.
Ground base device, unmanned operation system, operation system, and unmanned operation method
A ground base device includes a schedule timetable storage unit storing a received schedule timetable periodically transmitted from the central control device; a departure-obstructed condition determination unit determining whether a departure-obstructed condition of a train is resolved and outputting departure-obstructed condition cancel signal when the departure-obstructed condition is resolved; a departure time control unit outputting departure-time appropriate signal when current time is departure time based on the schedule timetable upon receiving the departure-obstructed condition cancel signal; a departure interval control unit outputting departure-interval appropriate signal when intervals between the train and preceding and following trains are a threshold value or more upon receiving the departure-time appropriate signal; and a departure instruction signal output unit outputting a departure instruction signal upon receiving the departure-interval appropriate signal, and, when the central control device fails, the departure time control unit uses the schedule timetable received when the central control device is normal.
Train window structure and train with train window structure
A train window structure and a train with the train window structure, the train window structure comprises a train window frame; train window glass arranged on the train window frame and internally provided with a hollow structure; and a display arranged in the hollow structure to display information on the train window glass, and information is displayed on the display in the hollow structure and is provided for passengers.
Locomotive-mounted power battery pack fire safety control system and method
A locomotive-mounted power battery pack fire safety control system includes a power battery pack, a power battery management system main controller, a rolling stock microcomputer system and a rolling stock display screen. The power battery pack is an enclosed installation isolated from external air. An inert gas injection pipe, a smoke detector and a temperature detector are arranged at the top end inside the power battery pack. An inert gas storage device is arranged outside the power battery pack. The inert gas storage device is connected with the inert gas injection pipe. A pressure detector and an inert gas injection control switch are arranged in turn on a pipeline through which the inert gas storage device discharges an inert gas to the power battery pack. The pressure detector and the inert gas injection control switch are connected with the rolling stock microcomputer system.
