Method for analyzing conditions of technical components
A method analyzes conditions of technical components in view of a rarity and/or an abnormality of a condition. To provide a reliable analysis and thus a safely operating system the method includes: a) describing conditions of the technical components in a behavioral input space that is spanned by state variables, which are characteristic for the technical components, b) analyzing a condition of one technical component in respect to other conditions of this technical component in the behavioral input space, whereby a rarity of this condition of the technical component is detectable, and c) analyzing the condition of the technical component also in respect to analyses of conditions of further technical components in the behavioral input space. Whereby an abnormality of the condition of the technical component is detectable.
Inspection System for Amusement Rides Having Tracks
An inspection system for inspecting the track of an amusement ride with at least one rail. A vehicle is provided that is designed to ride along the track. The vehicle supports cameras. The cameras are positioned in unobstructed areas. The cameras image the rail from different angles as the vehicle rides along the track. The images recorded by the cameras are reviewed to identify any defect or issue with the rail or its supporting framework that may impact from the safety of the ride.
Method for data transmission inside a rail-bound traffic system
A method for data transmission inside a rail-bound traffic system has of a plurality of field elements, in which the data transmission takes place via a flexible wireless transmission path between a sender field element and a control unit along available field elements. A data transmission system is for application of the method and a rail-bound traffic system having such a data transmission system. Furthermore, there is use of communication units on field elements of a rail-bound traffic system to form the data transmission system.

Odometric method, in particular for a rail vehicle or a control center
A method for odometric monitoring of a rail vehicle includes recording measured values with a sensor in the rail vehicle, and calculating location information and/or speed information from the measured values. The measured values and/or the location information and/or the speed information is stored, and patterns for the measured values and/or the location information and/or the speed information are generated by evaluating the already acquired measured values and/or the location information and/or the speed information. The currently acquired measured values and/or the location information and/or the speed information are synchronized with at least one pattern, and the occurrence of deviations from the patterns is output via an interface. A rail vehicle, a control center, a computer program product and a provision apparatus for the computer program product are also provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INDEXING VEHICLES OF A VEHICLE SYSTEM
A control system having a controller is configured to operate a vehicle indexing system that moves one or more vehicles in a vehicle system into a position to one or more of unload cargo off of the one or more vehicles or load the cargo onto the one or more vehicles. The controller is configured to determine a power setting of the vehicle indexing system that is used by the vehicle indexing system to move the one or more vehicles in the vehicle system into the position. The controller also is configured to determine a vehicle power setting for the vehicle system based on the power setting of the vehicle indexing system for controlling the vehicle system to provide additional tractive effort to the vehicle indexing system to move the one or more vehicles into the position.

Methods and systems for monitoring a transportation path with acoustic or vibration sensing
Methods and systems for monitoring and detecting various events or anomalies of interest on or along an object of interest, such as a transportation path, road, or railway, are presented. Data regarding the detected events can be collected near its source and transmitted to a data collection or processing object for analysis or storage. These events may include, but not limited to, rock falls, wheel or tire flat spots, or other acoustic or vibration generating events at or near the object of interest.

COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD FOR CREATING MEASUREMENT DATA DESCRIBING A RAILWAY NETWORK OR A VEHICLE TRAVELLING ON A TRACK
A computer-implemented method for creating measurement data describing a railway network or a vehicle travelling on a track. Measurement values are detected by a sensor situated on the vehicle or on the track. A sensor processor in communication with the sensor requests a time value describing a time point and/or a position value describing a position and/or a measurement sample from a processor situated on the vehicle. The time value, the position value, and/or the measurement sample are transmitted from the processor to the sensor processor. The sensor processor assigns a measurement value to the time value, the position value, or the measurement sample, such that the time value, the position value, and/or the measurement sample describe a measurement time point or measurement position, and measurement data comprising the measurement value and the time value and/or the position value and/or the measurement sample are stored in a database.
