Wheel axle assembly
A releasable wheel assembly includes a bracket having multiple bosses, each boss including a hole that receives an axle. A pair of wheels are mounted on the axle and a pair of locking caps fit over respective ends of the axle, the locking caps each including a clip for engaging the axle at a circumferential groove to prevent movement of the locking cap along the axle. The wheel assembly can be mounted to a carry bag or other storage unit by mounting the bracket to the storage unit, where the wheels and axle can be easily removed from the bracket.
Utility cart for transport of payloads
Embodiments of a utility cart according to the solution feature a three front-wheel arrangement on a common axle and a pair of swiveling rear wheels attached to a frame. Certain embodiments feature a sub-frame that is releasably locked to a main frame portion such that, when the locking mechanism is removed, the sub-frame may be lifted to pivot around the front axle and tip a tub aspect carrying a payload. Certain embodiments may also comprise a handle aspect that is slidably engaged with the frame of the cart such that it can be extended to various positions, including being fully disengaged, flipped and reengaged to translate from a push state for a manual user to a pull state for a hitch.
Wheelbarrow
A wheelbarrow for carrying materials is described herein, and may include a main frame having first and second spaced-apart elongate longitudinal arms and a support structure configured to engage the ground when the wheelbarrow is in a stationary position, a load carrying container for receiving a load therein, the load carrying container being mounted to and supported by the main frame and configured for supporting a load, an axle mounted to the main frame and below the container, and a ground engaging wheel rotatably mounted on the axle for moving the wheelbarrow in a mobile position. A hollow interior of the load carrying container may have an upper region and a lower region, the upper region located above the ground engaging wheel and extending along a substantial portion of a width of the container.
