The grocery cart cover may include a planar cover material adapted to fit over a child seat of a grocery cart. The planar cover material may have a center portion and an outer edge portion. The grocery cart cover may also include two holes located in the center portion of the planar cover material and adapted to receive two legs. The grocery cart cover may further include two slits adapted to receive a safety strap and a drawing surface holder. A packaging system allowing disposable grocery cart covers to be distributed to grocery cart users in an efficient manner is also provided.

The trolley may include an interface, such as a boarding card reader, for receiving information identifying the passenger and/or the passenger's flight. Mobile wireless communication means may be provided at the trolley for receiving airport information data, such as flight departure gate, delay or cancellation information, from a computer network within an airport terminal. Data output means are provided to communicate information to the passenger. The trolley may be X-ray compliant. A communication interface may be provided at the trolley for communicating with a portable device, such as a smartphone or equivalent means of the passenger. Individually selected information based on passenger identity, destination, position or past collection of passenger behavior may be disseminated to passengers on an individual basis. Passengers may be allowed to pass a gate for aircraft boarding only when called in accordance with a predetermined boarding sequence on the basis of, e.g., seat number or seat row.

The server is configured to, upon receipt of the amount, determine whether a commodity code associated with a matching weight value is already registered, and upon determining that the commodity code is already registered, issue a command that causes the terminal to display a screen through which inputs can be made for indicating that the commodity has been taken out or cancelling the registration of the removed commodity.

A shopping cart sanitization device, including a main body to receive at a first end at least one shopping cart therein, and a primary sanitization unit disposed within at least at least one portion of an interior of the main body, the primary sanitization unit including a sanitization body to automatically move from a second end of the main body to the first end of the main body in response to the main body receiving the at least one shopping cart, and at least one illumination unit disposed on at least at least one portion of the sanitization body to automatically illuminate UV light on the at least one shopping cart in response to the main body receiving the at least one shopping cart, such that the at least one illumination unit eliminates a pathogen.

Shopping container safes and related methods for securing objects are disclosed. According to an aspect, a shopping container includes a load carrier and a safe being attached to the load carrier. The safe may include a door and a lock. The lock may be configured to receive security information from an object. The lock may also determine whether to validate the received security information. Further, the lock may either fasten or unfasten the door of the safe in response to determining to validate the received security information.

A method for detachably fastening a smartphone holder to a shopping cart includes a first and a second step. In the first step, a smartphone is placed on a seating of the holder. In a second step, the smartphone is locked in the seating. The locking of the smartphone in the seating activates a locking mechanism which automatically locks the holder, which is inserted in a seating provided for that purpose on the shopping cart, in the seating.
