ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSITIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus in accordance with one aspect of the disclosure includes: a table configured to mount at least one probe; a first sensor configured to detect a type information of the probe and a mounting state of the probe; a driver configured to generate a driving force for moving the table; a second sensor configured to detect a position of the table; and a controller configured to control the driver based on detection results of the first sensor and the second sensor.

Acoustic signal transmission couplants and coupling mediums

Acoustic signal transmission couplants for use in tomographic, large aperture ultrasound imaging and therapeutic ultrasound are described that couple acoustic signal transducers to body structures for transmitting and receiving acoustic signals. The acoustic signal transmission couplants can conform to the receiving medium (e.g., skin) of the subject such that there is an acoustic impedance matching between the receiving medium and the transducer. In one aspect, an acoustic coupling medium includes a hydrogel including polymerizable material that form a network structured to entrap an aqueous fluid inside the hydrogel. The hydrogel is structured to conform to the receiving body, and the acoustic coupling medium is operable to conduct acoustic signals between acoustic signal transducer elements and a receiving medium when the hydrogel is in contact with the receiving body such that there is an acoustic impedance matching between the receiving medium and the acoustic signal transducer elements.

To reduce noise which leaks to the outside in an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.

An internal AC wiring unit 34 is composed of internal AC wiring which is installed on the input side of a power source circuit, and a shield case 38 which accommodates it. The internal AC wiring includes an inlet, a plurality of connectors, a relay substrate, and a plurality of internal AC cables. The internal AC wiring is protected from radiation noise which is generated in a casing 22 by the shield case 38. Thereby, the noise which leaks to the outside via an external AC cable is reduced.

Identifying anatomical structures

Aspects described herein disclose devices, systems, and methods for use in contexts such as minimally invasive surgery (MIS). A device is provided herein having a proximal portion and a distal portion, and an ultrasound transducer may be disposed within the distal portion and configured to scan tissue and identify certain portions of a patent's anatomy during the scanning process. The results of the detection may be presented to an operator of the device aurally and/or visually, such as in a 3-D volumetric image. By scanning the tissue, identifying the anatomy, and presenting the results to an operator, unnecessary damage to elements of the patients anatomy may be avoided or lessened. In some aspects, multiple transducers may be positioned on the device to increase the scanning range and/or scanning accuracy of the device. The device may provide an inner channel for the passage of surgical tools while scanning tissue.

Floating mechanism and ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus having same

A floating mechanism comprises a lift arm, a translation arm and a connection frame. One end of the lift arm is rotatably connected to the connection frame which is also rotatably connected to the translation arm. The lift arm drives the translation arm to rotate and move up and down between two intersecting planes with a fulcrum at the other end of the lift arm opposite to the translation arm. The translation arm can also be translated in a translational plane intersecting the lift arm with the connection point of the translation arm and the connecting frame as an axis. The lift arm and the translation arm of the floating mechanism can together drive an operating panel to move up and down in a vertical plane and to translate front and back, and left and right in a translation plane; meanwhile, the operating panel can be driven to rotate in the translation plane along with the lift arm and the translation arm. Also provided are an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus with the floating mechanism and a floating support method.
