SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTRICALLY ASSISTING IN REMOVAL OF DECEASED HUMANS UP AND DOWN STAIRS AND INTO A VEHICLE
20200290662 · 2020-09-17 ·

A mortuary human removal system with battery powered stairclimbing capability is disclosed having a mortuary body glide board, riveted to a top side of a commercially available battery powered stairclimbing hand truck. A multi-stage two wheeled prop stand is coupled to an opposing side of the hand truck longitudinal rails, which is designed to create two automatically latching positions of separation between the wheels and the hand truck rail. The shorter separation is used as an aid to safely lifting a human body on the mortuary human removal system to a first height above the ground. The second position is at a predetermined height for use as a fulcrum to tipping the foot end up and into an ambulance, hearse or other vehicle and be automatically folded up as the mortuary human removal system is pushed all the way into the vehicle.

FOLDING STAIR-CLIMBING TROLLEY
20200198681 · 2020-06-25 · ·

The present invention discloses a folding stair-climbing trolley comprising a bracket, wherein two insertion posts at a lower end of the bracket are sequentially inserted into a sliding sleeve, a sliding inner sleeve, a supporting sleeve, a toothed tube sleeve, a torsion spring and a foot stand, and ends of the two insertion posts at the lower end of the bracket are rotatably connected to both ends of a blade; a lower end of a supporting seat is connected to a lower portion of a rotating block and is located at an upper side of a connection point between the foot stand and the rotating block; an upper end of the rotating block is connected to a tripod, and three ends of the tripod are rotatably connected to rollers. The folding stair-climbing trolley may realize the function of moving on the stairs by providing three rollers. And the supporting sleeve and foot stand provided can be rotated, which may facilitate the tripods on both sides to be turned over and folded inward to realize the function of storing the rollers, saving the space for storing the trolley. By providing the oblique openings at the upper end of the foot stand and the lower end of the toothed tube sleeve, and providing the torsion spring inside the foot stand, the rotating thrust of the torsion spring facilitates the unfolding of the tripods.

The invention is directed to a stair-climbing remote control utility wagon. The wagon provides a forward chassis arm and a rear chassis arm which are interleaved with each other, providing a broad, stable base. The forward chassis arm terminates in a forward chassis, and the rear chassis arm terminates in a rear chassis. The forward chassis and the rear chassis provide powerful, battery-powered electric motors and caterpillar tracks. The forward chassis arm and rear chassis arm are fully articulated by servomotors, providing telescoping segments which may be extended and retracted with servomotors, and the motor housing of the forward chassis arm further provides infrared sensors, which are controlled by a microprocessor to enable the wagon to climb a flight of stairs. The forward chassis arm and rear chassis arm may also be used to elevate the bed of the wagon to any height, up to 48 inches.
