Gabion deployment platform
The present invention relates to a gabion deployment platform for storing a folded multi-compartment gabion and from which the gabion can be deployed, the deployment platform comprising: a base element for supporting the folded multi-compartmental gabion, the base element comprising a first member configured to extend along at least a part of a first side of said folded multi-compartment gabion, and a second member, extending transversely from said first member, said second member configured to extend along at least a part of a second side of said folded multi-compartmental gabion; and at least one retaining element, coupled at a first end thereof to said base element, said at least one retaining element being releasably attached, connected or retentively engaged, at least at one point of said at least one retaining element, by way of at least one releasable attaching, connecting or retentive engaging means, to a portion of a compartment of said folded multi-compartment gabion, said at least one retaining element configured to extend from said base element, over at least a portion of said folded multi-compartment gabion, said at least one retaining element serving to attach, connect or retentively engage a part of the gabion to the base element when the gabion is folded but to release the gabion from the base element when the gabion is deployed.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL TRANSPORT
A multifunction transport is designed to provide transport over snow, ice, grass, or ground which being towed or pushed. The transport may also function as a shelter or chair when raised on end. The transport may be equipped with kits or inserts to facilitate different uses. The transport may include a harness which may be used with the transport or may be used as a trailer without the transport.
LIGHTWEIGHT, INSULATED, WEATHER-RESISTANT, BUILDING PRODUCTS, METHODS AND STRUCTURES USING THE SAME
Insulated building products, methods and structure using those products are disclosed. The embodiments described include building materials having a core of encapsulated polystyrene (EPS) which is completely coated with a polymer. The polymer coating provides protection and structural integrity to the foam such that structures made of EPS foam can support multiple human beings without incurring damage. Moreover, additional embodiments are provided in which additional structural integrity is provided by affixing one or more rigid materials to the EPS foam prior to coating. The results, as disclosed, are light-weight, portable building structures that provide protection from the weather and that can be easily heated or cooled.
Pasture and paddock tender
The apparatus is a tender that removes horse manure from pastures and paddocks by collecting stools of manure, grinding the manure and returning it back to the pasture as fertilizer. The tender can also process collected manure, moving it and distributing it to locations needing biomass. The tender is a specialized sled, which can be towed by small vehicle, such as a golf cart. When towed through a pasture, the tender scrapes up the horse manure, grinds it into small granules without hurting the grass, and then spreads it over a wide elongate area, utilizing a unique knife and a partitioned mesh in a structural frame. The tender has a removable bed liner for that retains some or all materials, such as collected manure, for transporting the materials, where it can be dumped or be distributed as a granular biomass.
Snow raft having a plurality of adjustable speed control studs
A snow raft comprises a plurality of adjustable speed control studs to control the speed of the raft wherein adjustments are made by way of threading and unthreading the studs located within threaded sockets.
TOWING DEVICE FOR A USER TO PULL A TRAILER
A trailer towing device includes a spring device and a locking device. The locking device is configured to move between a locking state in which the spring device is blocked and a release state.
Devices and Methods for Collecting and Hauling Materials
The present application discloses devices for collecting and hauling materials, and methods of using the devices. The devices generally include a post and a sheet. The post includes a number of attachment points and the sheet includes a number of connectors. The connectors are selectively attachable to the attachment points on the post to position the sheet between an open orientation for loading the materials onto the sheet, and a closed orientation for transporting the device with the materials.
Transport device formed from plastic sheet
A simple device for transporting materials is formed of a sheet of a flexible plastics material of generally tear drop shape to define a front tapered converging portion connected directly to a rear semicircular cupping portion. A rope passes through a pair of transversely spaced holes at the front edge to define a forwardly extending handle portion. The rope extends rearwardly along each side of the front portion to a hole at or adjacent a rear edge of the side edge and is covered by a stiffening tube. The rope passes through holes at the rear cupping portion to define a rear portion of the rope outside the sheet across the rear covered by a stiffening tube engaged over the rear portion of the rope.
Cooler sled device
A cooler sled device for facilitating transport of a cooler over surfaces such as gravel, loose terrain, and sand includes a panel. A bottom surface of the panel is convexly curved between outer sides of a perimeter edge of the panel and extending rearwardly from a front side of the perimeter edge defining an upwardly turned front section of the bottom surface. Each of a pair of wells is positioned on an upper surface of the panel and proximate a respective one of the outer sides of the perimeter edge for receiving wheels coupled to a cooler positioned on the panel. A strap is positionable to extends across the upper surface of the panel for securing the cooler on the panel.
