Battery powered workstation cart for order fulfillment

Mobile battery powered workstation carts for order fulfillment are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a battery powered workstation cart may comprise a wheeled cart having a frame, a rechargeable lithium battery, a computer, a barcode reader/scanner, a RFID reader/scanner, a printer, an artificial intelligence hub, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and/or GPS. The frame may also comprise two side bracket arms and/or shelves, which may be modular to receive various different sized baskets, bins, or totes therein to expedite retail order fulfillment.

Material transport cart

A material transport cart includes a cart body, a material support body coupled to the cart body, a wheel coupled to the cart body, a motor operable to drive the wheel, and a powered lift assembly. The powered lift assembly is coupled to the cart body and to the material support body. The powered lift assembly is operable to lift the material support body relative to the cart body. A removable battery is electrically coupled to and operable to supply power to both the motor and the powered lift assembly.

A transport cart for transporting a ballast block upon a ground surface by a user. The ballast block has a front, rear, top, bottom, and has a plurality of fastening openings on the top. The transport cart has a main frame having a pair of parallel side members, a wheel assembly, a pair of overhead frames attached between the side members, and a cross member attaching the overhead frames. A lifting mechanism is attached to the cross member and includes a lifting arm extending parallel to the side members, and a pair of engagement plates attached to the lifting arm. The engagement plates fasten to the fastening openings on the top of the ballast block. The lifting arm is raised by rotating a handle to raise the block above the ground surface, whereupon the ballast block may be moved along the ground surface using the wheel assembly.

Dolly edge support device

Example edge support devices for a dolly are described. The edge support devices include a body including first and second body sections angled relative to each other, a first engagement assembly extending from a bottom surface of the first body section, and a second engagement assembly extending from a bottom surface of the second body section. The first and second engagement assemblies each include a central protrusion and pairs of side protrusions configured to be inserted into openings in the supporting surface of the dolly. The pairs of side protrusions of the first and second engagement assemblies engage the respective openings of the dolly to detachably couple the body of the edge support devices to the dolly.

An embodiment provides removably attached racks, the racks being adapted for storing removable containers when attached, and is configured for storing the racks thereupon when detached. In an optional aspect, a removably attached suspension member provides for additional supply storage, and the suspension member may also be stored upon the apparatus when detached. Supplies may be stored upon the apparatus while it is stationary, and may also be hauled from place to place using the apparatus.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING AN OBJECT

An apparatus for transporting an object is provided. The apparatus includes a mast and a carriage. The mast transitions between a first position defined by a first angle of incidence of the mast with a surface that supports the mast, and a second position defined by a second angle of incidence of the mast with the surface. The carriage traverses the mast and has one or more connectors that selectively secure the object to the carriage. The mast and the carriage are operative to transport the object along the surface when the mast is in the first position, and to facilitate engagement and disengagement of the one or more connectors with the object when the mast is in the second position.
