Method and hand luggage trolley for facilitating a flow of passengers in an airport terminal
A method and a trolley for facilitating a passenger's way through an airport terminal, and improved methods for boarding aircrafts. The trolley may include an interface, such as a boarding card reader, for receiving information identifying the passenger and/or the passenger's flight. Mobile wireless communication means may be provided at the trolley for receiving airport information data, such as flight departure gate, delay or cancellation information, from a computer network within an airport terminal. Data output means are provided to communicate information to the passenger. The trolley may be X-ray compliant. A communication interface may be provided at the trolley for communicating with a portable device, such as a smartphone or equivalent means of the passenger. Individually selected information based on passenger identity, destination, position or past collection of passenger behavior may be disseminated to passengers on an individual basis. Passengers may be allowed to pass a gate for aircraft boarding only when called in accordance with a predetermined boarding sequence on the basis of, e.g., seat number or seat row.
Carrying device for an end user of a walker
A carrying device is provided to carry at least one article for an end user of a walker while the end user is utilizing the walker. The carrying device includes a base having a first end, a second end, and a carrying surface extending between the first and second ends. The carrying surface is adapted to removably retain the at least one article for the end user. The carrying device further includes a support arm coupled to and extending outwardly from the second end of the base. The support arm is configured to support the at least one article when the at least one article is retained on the carrying surface at a position proximate to the second end of the base.
Trolley with a player
A trolley is disclosed which includes a frame body, a handle and a player, the player and the handle being linked to one another and rotatable with respect to the frame body. Due to the linkage of the player and the handle, the player may rotate as the passengers rotate the handle, which makes the operation convenient and flexible. The player is driven to rotate through the rotation of the handle to adjust an angle of the player, allowing passengers to watch the player conveniently in various situations like standing, sitting, pushing the trolley, etc., which meets different needs of passengers well and also avoids the blocking of the handle to the player.
Luggage With Transport Platform
A luggage transport system includes a first piece of luggage and a transport platform coupled to the first piece of luggage and adapted for supporting at least one additional piece of luggage when in a working position, wherein the transport platform has a first part and a second part pivotably connected to the first part, wherein the second part is substantially perpendicular to the first part when the transport platform is in the working position.
PLATFORM FOR BAGGAGE CART AND BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present invention relates to baggage handling systems and in particular a platform for moving baggage in multiple directions and methods of using the same with baggage carts and a baggage handling system to reduce human interaction and intervention with the baggage and for tracking of baggage.
LUGGAGE CART ASSEMBLY
A luggage cart assembly including multiple luggage containers which are vertically arranged, and one or more of the containers are pivotable such that the container can be accessed without having to move the other containers, where the container includes first and second attachment members to attach the container to the luggage cart. When the first attachment member is detached from the luggage cart and the second attachment member remains attached to the luggage cart, the container is pivotable relative to luggage cart and the container is supported by the second attachment member. The first and second containers may be vertically separated from one another in some embodiments.
Individually selected information based on passenger identity, destination, position or past collection of passenger behaviour may be disseminated to passengers on an individual basis. Passengers may be allowed to pass a gate for aircraft boarding only when called in accordance with a predetermined boarding sequence on the basis of, e.g., seat number or seat row.
LUGGAGE FOR MECHANICAL INTEGRATION WITH A PLATFORM
Luggage that may be mechanically integrated with a platform, including a piece of luggage including a slit through which the piece of luggage is integrated with a platform for the piece of luggage, a handle fastened to the piece of luggage, for pushing or pulling the piece of luggage, luggage wheels fastened to a first outer surface of the piece of luggage, for rolling the piece of luggage, and a release mechanism extending from the luggage unit to the platform, through the slit, for unlocking the platform, wherein the platform locks and unlocks such that the platform is free to be raised and lowered when it is unlocked, and is not free to be raised and lowered when it is locked.
Scissor lift that locks at a variable height
A scissor lift for raising and lowering a heavy object, including an upper platform for supporting a heavy object, including a release mechanism, and guided rollers mounted on axles, a lower frame including guided rollers mounted on axles, a scissor lift mechanism fastened to the axles of the upper platform guided rollers and to the axles of the lower frame guided rollers, that raises and lowers the upper platform, a locking mechanism including protrusions protruding outward of the upper frame, each protrusion corresponding to a different height of the scissor lift mechanism, wherein at least one guided roller within the upper platform includes a spring-loaded pin for engagement in the protrusions, thereby locking the scissor lift mechanism into place at a height corresponding to the protrusion into which the spring-loaded pin is engaged, and a release mechanism that unlocks the scissor lift mechanism.
Child seat carriage
Systems and methods for transporting an object on a carriage in tandem with a wheeled case are presented. A carriage in one embodiment includes a generally planar platform supported by one or more rolling members, a fence strap for holding the seat against a fence that extends upwardly from the platform, and an anchor strap connecting the seat to the wheeled case. The carriage may be used to transport any object or seat, such as a child safety seat. In another embodiment, the platform includes a leading section connected to a trailing section. The trailing section may include an opening that is sized shaped to receive at least a portion of the rolling members therethrough when the two sections are folded together.
