The intelligent terminal device is provided with a touchscreen computer having a display function and/or an operation function. The cart body is provided with an RFID tag for storing number information of the intelligent shopping cart. The cart body is further provided with a device in a communication connection to the touchscreen computer, and the device at least includes one or a combination of a weight sensor, a monitoring device, a code-scanning device, a positioning device, and a voice broadcasting device.
SELF-CHECKOUT ANTI-THEFT VEHICLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed herein relates to a self-checkout anti-theft vehicle system, comprising: a self-checkout vehicle having a plurality of sensors and components implemented thereon, the self-checkout vehicle being used by shoppers for storing selected merchandises in a retail environment; and a centralized computing device. The centralized computing device is configured to: obtain information related to each merchandise selected and placed into the self-checkout vehicle by a shopper by exchanging data with the plurality of sensors and components via a first communication network, identify each merchandise via a second, different communication network based at least upon the information obtained from the plurality of sensors and components, and process payment information of each merchandise.
MOBILE WEIGHING SCALE AND METHOD
A mobile weighing apparatus includes a base tubing, a column extending from the base tubing, a handle extending from the column, a plurality of wheels, a weighing platform, and a plurality of load cells coupled to or between the base tubing and the weighing platform. The weighting platform may be suspended from the load cells, such as with wire rope bolts, such that a force applied to the column does not affect weighment of an object on the weighing platform. The apparatus may include a kingpin-less swivel rear wheel, a rear wheel brake to preclude rotation of the rear wheel about an axle of the rear wheel, and an actuator to actuate the rear brake when the rear wheel is in any position over a 360-degree range. The wheels may be positioned adjacent respective corners of a triangularly shaped base tubing, and the apparatus may further include a clinometer.
SHOPPING CART AND SYSTEM
A shopping cart and method of autonomous shopping are provided including a cart chassis, a scale configured to rest on base of the chassis, a basket resting on the scale, wherein weights of products placed in the basket are indicated by the output signal of the scale, a weight guard rail positioned above the product basket and attached to the cart chassis, a user identification unit, a payment module, and a motion sensor.
MANUALLY MOVABLE TROLLEY
The invention relates to a manually movable and stackable trolley having a supporting device, wherein, when two trolleys are stacked, a rear region which is only taken up by the rear trolley and a front region which is only taken up by the trolley in front are produced, wherein the supporting device is assigned an electronic weighing device which is equipped with a first and a second weighing cell. The two weighing cells are arranged such that, in the stacked state, the first weighing cell of the rear, inserted trolley is within the rear region, and the second weighing cell of the inserted trolley is outside the front region, and, conversely, the first weighing cell of the trolley in front is outside the rear region, and the second weighing cell of the trolley in front is within the front region, wherein the first weighing cell is directed downwards from the at least one supporting device and the second weighing cell is directed upwards.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCURATE WEIGHT MEASUREMENT
Disclosed herein relates to a system, comprising: at least one load receiver mounted on a shopping cart or basket and configured to receive an item placed into the shopping cart or basket for a weighing operation; a plurality of sensors configured to detect a plurality of parameters relating to the weighing operation of the item including at least one of: a relative angle between a force sensing axis of the at least one load receiver and a direction of gravity, a motion of the shopping cart or basket, and an ambient temperature surrounding the shopping cart or basket and the at least one load receiver; and a processor configured to determine an actual weight of the item based on at least a portion of the plurality of parameters.
Mobile weighing scale and method
A mobile weighing scale is disclosed. The mobile weighing scale comprises a column; a weighing platform for supporting an object to be weighed; and a plurality of load cells for computing weighment of the object are connected to the weighing platform, wherein the plurality of load cells are mounted internal to the top of a base tubing, wherein the base tubing is attached to the weighing platform. Further, the mobile weighing scale may comprise a vibrator, removably attached at a proximal end of the weighing platform, for producing vibratory forces on the weighing platform to densify a material within the object to be weighed. The mobile weighing scale may further comprise an electronic indicator, attached to the column, for displaying the computed weighment of the object.
Interactive shopping system and method
An interactive shopping system for use in a retail store. The system can include a container for holding products selected by at least one user, a client device, a scanner, a scale, and a processor in communication with the client device, a positioning system in communication with the client device or the processor, and a visual or audible indicator. The at least one user can select products, view product information, initiate a payment transaction, and complete a purchase utilizing the interactive shopping system.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus for commodity registration includes a cart body, a weight sensor, a movement sensor, a code scanner, a display, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to detect change of a weight according to the weight sensor. Upon detecting the weight change, the control circuit determines whether the code scanner has read a commodity code within a predetermined time period before or after the weight change. If the code scanner has not read a commodity code within the predetermined time period, it is determined whether or not movement of the cart body, as detected by the movement sensor, satisfies a predetermined condition. If the movement satisfies the predetermined condition, the control circuit controls the display to display a registration alert screen.
Item-identifying carts
This disclosure is directed to an item-identifying, mobile cart that may be utilized by a user in a materials handling facility to automatically identify a user operating the cart and items that the user places into a basket of the cart. In addition, the cart may update a virtual shopping cart of the identified user to include items taken by the user. The mobile cart may include multiple imaging devices and oriented such that their respective optical axes are directed towards an interior of a perimeter of the top of the basket, and above the top of the basket. The mobile cart may also include an imaging device oriented away from the basket such that a user operating the mobile cart may scan a user identifier using this imaging device to enable recognition of the user.
