Bodily emission analysis
Apparatus and methods are described for use with a bodily emission (26) of a subject that is disposed within a toilet bowl. While the bodily emission is disposed within the toilet bowl (23), light is received from the toilet bowl using one or more light sensors (60). Using a computer processor (44), one or more spectral components within the received light that are indicative of light absorption by a component of erythrocytes are detected, by analyzing the received light. In response thereto, the computer processor determines that there is a presence of blood within the bodily emission. The computer processor generates an output on an output device (32), at least partially in response thereto. Other applications are also described.
Biopsy methods and devices
Disclosed are methods for detecting remnant cancer cells in a tissue sample.
Irrigation and aspiration device and method
Irrigation and/or aspiration devices and methods may be configured to aspirate and irrigate alone, sequentially, or concurrently. The devices and methods may provide a base with a removable head, and adapted for partial or complete separation of the irrigation and aspiration functions. The devices and methods can be configured to aspirate and/or irrigate the nasal and sinus cavities. The devices and methods may be manually and/or automatically controlled. The devices and methods may include removable, and/or replaceable, and/or refillable, and easily cleanable reservoirs for aspirant and irrigant. The device head and/or aspirant reservoir may comprise a diagnostic device, i.e., test device and/or container after use of the devices and methods.

ONE-TOUCH FINGERTIP SWEAT SENSOR AND PERSONALIZED DATA PROCESSING FOR RELIABLE PREDICTION OF BLOOD BIOMARKER CONCENTRATIONS
Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for collecting and transferring naturally-produced sweat containing an analyte to a biosensor and/or biofuel cell to estimate a concentration of the analyte corresponding to the analyte's concentration in blood and/or for producing electricity. In some aspects, a device includes a substrate, a plurality of electrodes disposed on the substrate and operable to detect an analyte in naturally-produced sweat of an individual, and a sweat permeation layer including a hydrogel, wherein the sweat permeation layer is in contact with the plurality of electrodes and configured to transfer the sweat containing the analyte through the sweat permeation layer to reach the plurality of electrodes for detection and/or energy harvesting.

SALIVA TESTING SYSTEM
A method for using saliva to measure at least one substance or physiological parameter of a human or animal subject may involve inserting a first end of a sensor into a handheld saliva testing device. The method may also involve receiving saliva from the subject on a second end of the sensor, moving the saliva from the second end of the sensor to the first end, and processing the saliva with the handheld saliva testing device to provide initial saliva data related to the at least one substance or physiological parameter of the subject. In some embodiments, the sensor remains inserted in the handheld device while the subject deposits saliva on the opposite, free end of the sensor.
Self-administered tamper-evident drug detection
A self-administered tamper-evident drug detection system. The system includes a biometric detection surface for each of a user's right and left hands, configured to identify the user and prevent tamper by continuously capturing biometric information from each of the user's right and left hands while the system is administering a drug detection test. The system further includes a collection device to administer the drug detection test by exposing a sample collection device to a user's mouth to collect a saliva sample.

Systems for Testing and Enhancing Skin Health
New systems, devices and methods for testing, analyzing and managing skin and skin microbiomes are provided. According to some embodiments, a skin and skin microbiome testing and management system is provided, including at least one computer hardware- and software-based control system and a wand device with rapidly replaceable testing and application cartridges comprising rollers. In some embodiments, the control system enrolls user(s) and issues testing kits to the user(s), including the specialized wand device, testing substrates and reagents. In some embodiments, techniques for sampling and testing a skin microbiome are set forth. Further techniques for analyzing skin conditions, based on the results of that testing, and issuing management techniques based on those results, are also provided.
