An electronic system for determining a time of the temperature nadir of a female human during the menstrual cycle comprises a wearable device (1) that includes a first sensor system (104), configured to determine a temperature of the female human, and a second sensor system (101, 102, 103), configured to determine one or more further physiological parameters of the female human. The electronic system further comprises a processor (13, 30, 40), configured to determine a detected starting point of the fertility phase of the female human, using the one or more further physiological parameters of the female human. The processor (13, 30, 40) is further configured to detect the temperature nadir as a temporary decrease in the temperature, using the detected starting point of the fertility phase of the female human. The time of the temperature nadir is used as an indicator of the time of ovulation and peak oestrogen level.

Absorbent hygienic articles with sensors and biocompostable elements

Absorbent articles with biodegradable and/or biocompostable elements are disclosed, wherein the absorbent articles include sensors. The sensors detect and determine variables associated with collected fluids, solids, and gases, including a presence of fluids, solids, and gases, a volume of fluids, solids, and gases, and/or a distribution of fluids, solids, and gases. In one embodiment, the sensors and/or connected computing systems are calibrated to capacities and other properties of elements within the articles, including superabsorbent polymers, and are operable to trigger an alert based on detected or determined conditions.

SYSTEM FOR REPRODUCTIVE MONITORING

A system for sensing one or more physiological traits and obstetric conditions, such as a fertility phase, pregnancy, labor, post-partum conditions, and other conditions related to the reproductive system of the patient. The system may use the one or more physiological traits sensed to define one or more patient attributes for the patient, such as a hormone level, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, temperature, oxygen saturation level, uterine contractions, fluid level, and/or other patient attributes. The system is configured to compare the one or more patient attributes to one or more attribute signs describing a threshold for the one or more patient attributes. The system is configured to issue a communication to the patient and/or a clinician based on the comparisons. The system may be configured to assess and indicate reproductive phases for the patient over a life-cycle from the fertility phase to the post-partum phase.

This application relates to a method of providing an infertility-associated service. In one aspect, the method includes receiving, from a user terminal, a fertility test request including user information and selection information. The method may also include selecting a specimen collection method according to the selection information and performing sampling scheduling for the selected specimen collection method. The method may further include receiving a result of a fertility test performed using a specimen collected according to the selected specimen collection method, and providing the received result of the fertility test to the user terminal.

AUTOMATIC DETERMINATION OF A BIOLOGICAL CONDITION OF A SUBJECT FROM FERNING PATTERNS

Systems and methods are provided for determining if a subject has a biological condition from a dried fluid sample. A fluid sample from a subject is dried in a microfluidic device to provide a dried fluid sample. The dried fluid sample is imaged at a camera to provide a sample image, and the sample image is provided to a computer vision mode. At the computer vision model, it is determined if the sample image contains a ferning pattern indicative of a biological condition of the subject.

Sterile Urine Collection Mechanism for Medical Diagnostic Systems

Example embodiments relate to a sterile urine collection mechanism for medical diagnostic systems. An example device includes an initial collection component configured to collect a midstream urine sample from a patient. The device also includes a plurality of test strips configured to indicate a condition of the patient at a point of care. In addition, the device includes a sensor configured to capture an image of at least one test strip exposed to a portion of the midstream urine sample. Further, the device includes a computing device configured to analyze the image of the test strip captured by the sensor in order to determine the condition of the patient. Even further, the device includes a motor configured to position the test strip near the sensor. Yet further, the device includes an additional collection component configured to collect an additional portion of the midstream urine sample for central laboratory testing.

In-bed temperature array for menstrual cycle tracking

Embodiments are directed to systems and techniques for tracking menstrual cycles, which can include receiving temperature measurements from an array of temperature sensors positioned on a bed. A use period for the array can be determined when temperature measurements from at least one temperature sensor of the one or more temperature sensors exceed a first temperature threshold. In some embodiments, for each use period in a set of two or more use periods, a temperature of the user using the set of temperatures from the respective use period can be determined. After determining the temperature of the user for each use period in the set of two or more use periods, at least one change in the temperature of the user between different use periods can be identified. An ovulation day of the user based on the at least one change in the temperature of the user can be estimated.
