There is provided a first gripping jaw (2) extending from the body (1) and comprising a concave groove having has two longitudinal opposite edges (4, 5); at least one second gripping jaw (7) having a second concave groove with two longitudinal edges, at least one longitudinal edge of the second longitudinal groove being attached to one edge (5) of the first longitudinal groove either pivotably or detachably; and at least one closing element (10, 11) for pressing the second gripping jaw (7) towards the first gripping jaw (2).

CARGO DOLLY WITH SYNCHRONOUS STEERING AND ACCESSIBLE SURFACE CASTORS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

A transportation dolly can have a frame, two axles pivotally coupled with the frame, each axle having two distal ends and a wheel assembly coupled at each distal end and a synchronous steering system. The synchronous steering system can include an intermediate link pivotally coupled with the frame, the intermediate link having a two distal ends, and a first push-pull rod coupling one of the two axles with the intermediate link, and a second push-pull rod coupling the other of the two axles with the intermediate link. The first push-pull rod is coupled to one distal end of the intermediate link and the second push-pull rod is coupled to the opposing distal end of the intermediate link. The first push-pull rod, the second push-pull rod, and the intermediate link provide counter phase synchronous pivoting of the two axles relative to the transportation dolly.

Multi-configuration mechanical apparatus

Examples provides one or more rolling pallet trays capable of interlocking together to form a modular rolling platform. A rolling pallet tray includes a rectangular base member with a top surface, a bottom surface, and a set of four sides. The top surface may have a lip extending upward along at least a portion of the circumference of the top surface. A set of rollers are pivotally mounted to the bottom surface. A floor-lock brake may be activated to stop movement of at least one roller to lock the rolling pallet tray in place. A set of linking mechanisms is attached to one or more of the sides for linking the individual rolling pallet tray to one or more other rolling pallet trays in a variety of different configurations. The linked rolling pallet trays in the modular rolling pallet tray pivot together as a single unit for greater stability.
