Drywall cart and methods of using the same
The disclosure generally relates to drywall carts and uses thereof. In aspects, a drywall cart is provided, which includes a cart frame, an overhanging safety bar, at least one pivot arm, and a lip guard, each configured to stabilize the drywall cart. In other aspects, a drywall cart safety kit is provided, which includes an overhanging safety bar, a first pivot arm and a second pivot arm, and a lip guard, configured to be attached to a drywall cart and to prevent the drywall cart to which it is attached from tipping or falling over. In further aspects, a method of using a drywall cart is provided, the method including the steps of raising an overhanging safety bar, loading drywall onto a base of the drywall cart, lowering the overhanging safety bar to secure the drywall, and transporting the drywall.
CART MOVER WITH RECONFIGURABLE DRIVE UNIT AND SUPPORT WHEELS
The disclosure relates to a cart mover comprising a chassis having a driven end and a hitching end, a reconfigurable drive system, and a hitching system. A first set of support wheels and a second set of support wheels are coupled to the hitching end. The reconfigurable drive system is positioned on the driven end of the chassis having a drive unit with a first and second drive wheel and drive turret. In a locked state, the drive turret locks an orientation of the drive unit. In an unlocked state, the drive unit is configured to freely rotate about a vertical axis of the drive unit. The hitching system comprises at least one hitching arm and at least one engaging member. One or both of the hitching arm and engaging member are configured to move towards one another to constrain an object therebetween.
CARTS WITH GUIDE WHEELS
A cart for transporting objects includes a frame longitudinally extending between a first end and a second end and a plurality of wheel assemblies and a guide wheel coupled to the frame. The plurality of wheel assemblies and the guide wheel are configured to facilitate movement of the cart. The guide wheel is moveable into and between a first guide wheel position and a second guide wheel position, and when the guide wheel is in the first guide wheel position, the guide wheel resists movement of the cart in a direction other than in a longitudinal direction.
Self-propelled stair climber
A self-propelled goods stair climber includes: first and second motorized tracks and an elongated configuration parallel to a straight forward travel direction; a loading surface implemented to tilt with respect to the tracks around a first transverse axis perpendicular to the tracks; an actuated stabilization member movable between an extracted position so that the weight of the stair climber is carried at least in part by the stabilization member and a retracted position in which the stabilization member is not loaded; a proximity or support sensor carried by the stabilization member to send a signal of approach or contact with a floor; an electronic control unit programmed to activate the first and second tracks on the basis of said signal when the stabilization member is extracted; and check an inclination of the loading surface to be maintained in a predefined angular range with respect to a horizontal direction.
