The wheel (30) can be driven and steered simultaneously by the first drive motor (11) and the second drive motor (21) via the transmission, wherein a first motor shaft (12) for driving the transmission extends from the first drive motor (11) in a first motor shaft direction (12′), a second motor shaft (22) for driving the transmission extends from the second drive motor (21) in a second motor shaft direction (22′), the first motor shaft direction (12′) and the second motor shaft direction (22′) are opposite each other, and the first drive motor (11) and the second drive motor (21) extend parallel to the first and second motor shaft directions (12′, 22′) over a common overlap section (Ü).
HUB UNIT HAVING STEERING FUNCTION, AND VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH SAME
Provided is a steering function-equipped hub unit including: a hub unit body including a hub bearing; a unit support member configured to be provided to a chassis frame component, the unit support member supporting the hub unit body such that the hub unit body is rotatable about a turning axis extending in a vertical direction; and a steering actuator configured to rotationally drive the hub unit body about the turning axis, wherein the hub bearing includes an outer race integrally provided with turning shaft parts protruding upward and downward in the vertical direction on an outer peripheral surface of the outer race, each of the turning shaft parts having an axis coinciding with the turning axis, and the hub unit body is rotatably supported by the unit support member through the turning shaft parts.
Wheel suspension
A wheel suspension having at least one chassis suspension link, a first track rod and a second track rod. A deflecting lever connects the first track rod and the second track rod to one another and the deflecting lever is mounted on the at least one chassis suspension link. To produce a simple structure of the bearing system, the bearing system is in the form of a slide bearing which is accommodated by a bearing section of the at least one chassis suspension link, in which a fastener, that connects the deflecting lever and the at least one chassis suspension link, is fitted.
WHEEL MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND STEERING CAPABILITIES
Some embodiments may provide a suspension unit that may include a rail having a longitudinal axis, a sliding member slidably connected to the rail, and shock absorption and springing means adapted to damp motions and support forces along the longitudinal axis of the rail, wherein, the rail and the sliding member are shaped to have transverse cross-sectional profiles that prevent a rotational movement of the sliding member with respect to the rail about the longitudinal axis of the rail. In some embodiments, the suspension unit may be part of an in-wheel system further including at least a steering unit.
WHEEL CARRIER FOR A SUSPENSION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is a wheel carrier for a suspension of a motor vehicle; and a motor vehicle comprising the wheel carrier. In a preferred system, the wheel carrier comprises a first carrier segment configured to carry a wheel of the motor vehicle at a wheel center; and a second carrier segment configured to couple the first carrier segment with a vehicle body of the motor vehicle. The second carrier segment comprises at least one groove, and the first carrier segment comprises for each groove a corresponding sliding pin configured to slidingly engage the respective groove such that the pin slides along the groove under vertical and/or horizontal displacements of the wheel center with respect to the second carrier segment.
Automatically adjusting swing legs for mounting and aligning and reorienting crawlers
A paving machine including a modular frame, a plurality of swing legs pivotable relative to the frame, a jacking column secured to each swing leg, a crawler track, a slew gear drive, and angular position transducers for measuring an angular position between the swing leg and the modular frame, and an angular position of the crawler track relative to the jacking column. Feedback from the transducers facilitates maintaining position of the crawler track. The jacking column can include telescoping outer and inner tubes, a vertically oriented hydraulic actuator including a cylinder and a piston operable within the outer and inner tubes, and spaced apart axial bearings coupled to the outer tube and/or the inner tube. The slew gear drive can be secured between the inner tube and a yoke and capable of steering the crawler track under load without lifting the crawler track.
