BOLT-ON FRONT BOLSTER FOR INTERMODAL CHASSIS
A front bolster and frame connection system for an intermodal chassis including a front bolster, a front gooseneck frame extending from the intermodal chassis having beams, mounting tabs attached to the front bolster, mounting tabs attached to the front gooseneck frame, a front gooseneck frame mounting plate welded to the end of the front end of the front gooseneck frame, and angle braces attached to the mounting tabs. The angle braces connect the bolt on front bolster and the front gooseneck frame. A retrofit kit and an alternate embodiment are also provided. The bolt on front bolster design of the present invention requires minimal cutting or grinding to remove and minimal welding to replace. The bolt on front bolster adds considerable value to operators in the intermodal market by facilitating service and eliminating chronic issues.
Vehicle frame structure
A vehicle frame structure includes a pair of rear side members extending along a length of a vehicle in a lower part of the vehicle, and a first cross member coupling the pair of rear side members. The first cross member includes an intermediate member and a pair of coupling members. The intermediate member extends along a width of the vehicle at a location further downward with respect to the rear side members and is located under a motor unit. The pair of coupling members respectively extend downward or diagonally downward from the respective side members toward the opposite ends of the intermediate member.

GALVANIC CORROSION RESISTANT FASTENER
A fastening assembly includes: a panel defining an aperture; a fastener having a cap and a shaft extending from the cap, the shaft being disposed through the aperture, the fastener having a first corrosion rate, and the fastener including: a recess formed in the cap and extending at least partially around the shaft; face surfaces that are planar and that are to directly contact the panel; and recessed channels that are disposed between the face surfaces, respectively, that are recessed relative to the face surfaces, and that extend from a radially outer edge of the cap to the recess; and an anode insert disposed in the recess and having a second corrosion rate that is faster than the first corrosion rate.
MULITI-MODULAR ALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE SYSTEM
An invented all electric powered multi-modular vehicle system consists of a driving module and different types of non-driving vehicle modules, such as enhanced capacity module for more passengers, sports utility module, a truck-bed module, a recreational vehicle module, four-wheel-drive module and cargo truck module etc. When given a command the vehicle modules shall be automatically configured into one vehicle or detached back to individual vehicle modules as commanded. The entire coupling and configuration and decoupling and deconfiguration may be operated with a wireless user device. The modular vehicle system offers users with different options over capacities and functions, as well as cost-saving and more efficient vehicle utilization rate. Vehicle owners may buy a particular set of modules while rent or lease or exchange other non-driving modules via vehicle rental service or a media network connecting owners of the modular vehicles when needed.
Vehicle
A vehicle shown herein is a side by side powersports vehicle having a utility bed recessed in the rear body portion below an upper surface, the utility bed forming a stepped portion relative to the rear body portion and having a maximum lateral width greater than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, and a minimum width less than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, whereby a spare wheel may be stored on the stepped portion of the utility bed. As shown herein, the utility bed is defined as a removable tub, which can be removed from the rear body portion. The utility bed has defined troughs in a floor thereof angled rearwardly wherein the utility bed has drains which drain away from any heat source of the vehicle. The seats of the vehicle allow longitudinal movement and tilt capability.
