Spare tire presentation apparatus
A spare tire presentation apparatus includes a base, a four bar linkage and a sliding platform. The four bar linkage connects the base to the motor vehicle. The sliding platform is supported on the base. A spare tire is carried on the sliding platform.
VEHICLE REAR STRUCTURE
The framework includes a pair of right and left side frames extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, a second cross member connected to the rear portions of the side frames so as to bridge along the lateral direction of the vehicle and supporting the rear portion of the motor, and the side frames. A third cross member is connected to the rear of the second cross member so as to bridge along the right-left direction of the vehicle, and detachably supports the spare tire so as to hang it. The third cross member is formed in an inverted U shape, has a spare tire lifting device in the middle in the longitudinal direction, and has attachment portions to which the rear ends of the leaf springs are attached at one end side and the other longitudinal end side of the third cross member.
VEHICLE REAR STRUCTURE
The frame includes a pair of left and right side frames, a second cross member that is connected to the rear portion of the side frames and supports the rear portion of the motor, and the side frames that extend behind the second cross member along the left-right direction of the vehicle. and a third cross member for detachably suspending and supporting the spare tire so that the spare tire is placed horizontally with the front side lowered, and the spare tire is placed in the middle of the third cross member in the longitudinal direction. A raising and lowering device for supporting and elevating the spare tire is provided, and a raising and lowering guide is provided in the middle of the second cross member in the longitudinal direction to guide the spare tire so that it maintains its posture when the spare tire is lifted or lowered.
SPARE WHEEL CARRIER WITH A ROTATABLE LATCH FOR ROTATING THE SPARE WHEEL
A spare wheel carrier intended to be mounted on a motor vehicle comprising a chassis for storing a spare wheel, the spare wheel carrier comprising: a mounting bracket intended to be mounted on the chassis of the motor vehicle; a latch mounted on the mounting bracket, the spare wheel being intended to be attached to the latch, wherein the latch is movable, with at least a rotation movement relative to the mounting bracket, between a storage position in which the spare wheel is intended to extend in a horizontal plane, in a horizontal position and a release position in which the spare wheel is intended to extend in a vertical plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane, in a vertical position perpendicular to the horizontal position.
Vehicle spare tire lift assembly
A tire lift assembly may include an upper plate, a rod, and a pair of handles. The rod may connect the upper plate to a trunk support surface spaced from the upper plate to receive a tire therebetween. Each of the pair of handles may be mounted for rotation to the upper plate and each may include a tab. Rotation of each of handles orients the respective tab for engagement and non-engagement with the tire. Each of the handles may be arranged with the upper plate so that the tabs define a dimension greater than a diameter of a rim through-hole of the tire when the tabs are rotated for engagement with the tire.

Frame mounted vehicle lift system and method of use
A frame mounted vehicle lift system and method of use are described. The system and method of use are designed to provide a simple, reliable, and safe means for persons operating a motor vehicle to elevate one or more of the vehicle's wheels from the ground for a variety of purposes, such as changing a flat tire, for example. The system comprises one or more frame-mounted vehicle jacks and an automatic spare tire dispenser. Components of the invention are driven by actuators powered by the vehicle's battery and activated by a dashboard or other switch on the vehicle, or remotely by a FOB.
SPARE TIRE PRESENTATION DEVICE AND METHOD
A spare tire presentation device includes a guide, a carriage displaceable along the guide and a spare tire support on the carriage. The spare tire support is displaceable between a first position and a second position. A related method of accessing a spare tire is also disclosed.
Articulating motor vehicle floor assembly with lift assist
A motor vehicle floor assembly includes an articulating floor body having a first panel and a second panel supported by a linkage. The linkage includes a first link connected to the first panel, a second link connected to the second panel and a first pivot connecting the first link to the second link and defining an articulation joint for the articulating floor body.
