The front door, the rear door and the luggage compartment door are all disposed at one lateral side of the vehicle body, with the luggage compartment door between the front door and the rear door. The wheels connected individually to a bottom of the vehicle body are used for displacing the vehicle body. The movable placing portion is foldably disposed in a storage area of the vehicle body. The movable placing portion includes a placing platform and a supportive structure. The placing platform can protrude out of the storage area of the vehicle body. The supportive structure is pivotally connected with the placing platform, and the supportive structure supports the placing platform while the placing platform is moved out of the vehicle body.

Middle Hoop System for an Articulated Vehicle
20170240012 · 2017-08-24 ·

A middle hoop system for a vehicle joint arranged between a vehicle front part and a vehicle rear part of a vehicle and forms a passage between the vehicle front part and the vehicle rear part. The middle hoop surrounds the passage. The middle hoop system comprises a cable strand which extends between the vehicle front part and the vehicle rear part, wherein the cable strand is arranged above the passage. The middle hoop system comprises a pivot lever between the middle hoop and the cable strand. A first pivot joint is formed between the pivot lever and the middle hoop. In a preferred embodiment, the pivot lever guides the cable strand at a distance from the first pivot joint. The middle hoop system is cost-effective and provides reliable guidance for the cable strand.

MOTOR COACHES FOR THE MOBILITY IMPAIRED
20170240214 · 2017-08-24 ·

A motor coach comprises a front door, a front stairwell, an upper aisleway, upper seats, a side door and a mobility impaired area. The front stairwell leads from the front door. The upper aisleway leads from the front stairwell. The upper aisleway is generally at the level of the top of the upper stairwell. The upper seats are along the upper aisleway. The side door may be lower than or at the same height as the front door, and leads to the mobility impaired area, which is inside and generally at the level of the bottom of the side door. The upper aisleway, upper seats, and mobility impaired area are all together in one unified passenger compartment while separated by differences of location of doors for loading and heights of floors. Numerous advantages flow, including but not limited to the following: loading and unloading times for mobility impaired passengers are substantially improved, especially as compared to typical high floor, wheelchair lift equipped coaches.

Motor-assisted joint system for articulated bus

A motor-assisted joint system is provided to improve maneuverability and safety of an articulated bus. The motor-assisted joint system is enabled when the articulated bus is operated in an active damping mode. An articulated joint with a flat motor is used. According to the velocity of the articulated bus, a highly sensitive damping force is calculated and an opposing force is generated to balance the inertia of the articulated bus when an oversteering event or a tire slip event occurs. Consequently, the driving performance of the articulated bus in various aspects is enhanced.

An aircraft light comprises a housing, at least one light source to be cooled, the at least one light source being arranged in the housing, a heat sink element thermally coupled to the at least one light source and defining a cooling surface exposable to a cooling airstream for the cooling airstream to flow along the cooling surface in a flow direction. The cooling surface extends between upstream and downstream end portions spaced apart in the flow direction and means for generating a pressure difference between the upstream and downstream end portions of the cooling surface. Due to the pressure difference, a cooling airstream flowing along the cooling surface is created.
