A conveyor system, comprising a conveying section and at least one conveyor carriage that carries a drive of its own, and with the drive is movable along the conveying section, wherein the drive includes a drive motor and a separation device, by means of which the power flow between the drive motor and the conveying section can be separated. In order to move a left-behind conveyor carriage out of a difficult-to-reach segment of the conveying section, the separation device is configured to be activated by a separating carriage that follows the conveyor carriage along the conveying section and/or precedes the conveyor carriage along the conveying section in order to separate the power flow between the drive motor of the at least one conveyor carriage and the conveying section.

AUTOMATED TUGGER CART ASSEMBLY

A tugger cart includes a tugger frame having a first side member, a second side member, and a clasping member. A plurality of wheels are coupled to a bottom of the tugger frame. Each of the first side member and the second side member include a plurality of roller wheels rotatably coupled to an inner side and rotatable about a horizontal axis. The plurality of roller wheels align along an angled plane that declines from a rear of the tugger frame to a front of the tugger frame. The clasping member includes at least one fixed arm, at least one telescoping arm, an actuator, and a grab arm extendable and retractable from the at least one telescoping arm. The actuator converts the telescoping arm between an extended position and a retracted position.

A slide-out undercarriage mounted on an underside of a first trailer pulled by a highway tractor. The slide-out undercarriage is adapted for attaching a rear of the first trailer to a front of a second trailer. The slide-out undercarriage includes a fixed undercarriage frame mounted on an underside of a first trailer. A front axle with front wheels is mounted on a front axle frame and a rear axle with rear wheels is mounted on a rear axle frame. The rear axle frame includes a fifth wheel adapted for engaging a king pin on the front of the second trailer. A pair of first slide out tubes are attached to the front axle frame. A pair of second slide out tubes are attached to the rear axle frame. The first and second slide out tubes provide for allowing an operator of the first trailer to adjust the front and rear axles in various load positions under the first trailer when pulling the second trailer.

Tugger and rider cart assembly

According to some embodiments, an improved tugger and rider cart assembly system is presented. The system comprising a tugger cart with a central space to receive a rider cart; the tugger cart having both front side and rear side pluralities of transport wheels approximately parallel to, but not touching, ground; a front side and a rear side loading wheel positioned closer to the ground than the transport wheels; a rider cart having a first wing and a second wing, both wings having a curved portion; and wherein the loading wheels and wing curved portions can be operatively connected to allow a user to move the rider cart onto the tugger cart thereby allowing the tugger cart to transport the rider cart.
