THEFT PREVENTION SADDLEBAG RECEIVER LATCH BRACKET
20180223570 · 2018-08-09 ·

A theft prevention saddlebag receiver latch bracket may include a base and a guide ramp. A first sidewall and a second sidewall may couple the base and guide ramp together to form a lid latch hook cavity. The guide ramp may include a latch ramp surface and a retaining surface. The base may further include a latch stop and one or more mounting apertures. A lid latch hook may be guided by the guide ramp and sidewalls into the lid latch hook cavity. The retaining surface may engage with the lid latch hook to retain the lid latch hook in the lid latch hook cavity to limit vertical movement of the lid latch hook. Outward movement of the lid latch hook, away from the base, may be limited by the latch ramp surface, while inward movement of the lid latch hook, towards the base, may be limited by the latch stop.

LOCKING PLATFORM FOR RECEIVING A MOUNT
20240352773 · 2024-10-24 ·

The present invention relates to a locking platform for receiving a mount comprising: a plate containing a lock mechanism that engages and disengages at least one locking member.

A first face of the plate receives the mount, and the first face of the plate has an opening through which the at least one locking member projects to engage with the mount release mechanism; and retracts to disengage from the mount release mechanism.

A second opposed face of the plate is adapted to receive a base whereby in use part of the plate is sandwiched between the mount and the base.

At least one aperture is provided through the plate, between the first and second faces of the plate, to receive an attachment means for joining the plate to the mount and the base.

An anti-theft device for bicycle seat post includes a restriction member connected to the bottom end of the seat post. The restriction member has a disk extending from the outer periphery thereof, and the disk protrudes radially from outer periphery of the bottom end of the seat post. A fastening member is be connected to the top end of the seat tube and the seat post extends through the passage. A first stepped portion and a second stepped portion are respectively defined in the inner periphery of the passage. The first stepped portion is rested on the top end of the seat tube. When the seat post is lifted to its maximum position, the disk of the restriction member is engaged with the second stepped portion so that the seat post cannot be pulled out from the seat tube.

Locking structure for a bicycle

An anti-theft device for battery of electric bicycle is described. The device locks the battery to the frame of electric bicycle. The device preferably further locks the rear wheel of the electric bicycle.

WHEEL UNIT WITH A LOCATION SENSOR

A wheel unit includes a rotating wheel, a wheel axle, and a location sensor. The rotating wheel rotates with respect to the wheel axle. The location sensor is disposed in a fixed position with respect to the wheel axle. The location sensor determines coordinates for a location of the wheel unit.

ELECTRONICALLY CONTROL BATTERY BOX LOCK

A lock electronically controls whether the battery box can be removed or not and has a base and a battery box. A first base latch seat of the base has an electronic controller and a latching member. The battery box is detachably mounted on the base. The latching member is movable or rotatable to engage with the first battery latch seat of the battery box. The latching member is moveable or rotatable to disengage from the first battery latch seat under the control of the electronic controller. The latching member on the base regularly engages with the first battery latch seat. To unlock the battery box, it is only necessary to control the electronic controller by signal, and then the latching member on the base may be disengaged from the first battery latch seat, so that the battery box can be removed.

BICYCLE BATTERY ASSEMBLY

A bicycle battery assembly (10) comprising a battery (2) and a casing, such as a frame tube (5) of a bicycle frame, with a receiving opening (7) for receiving the battery. An interfacing surface (14) at one end of the battery comprises a stop (20). The battery assembly comprises a lock (12) in the casing (5), the lock having a latch (17) which can be moved between a retracted position and a locking position engaging the stop (20) of the interfacing surface. The lock and the interfacing surface comprise interlocking members (29, 32) engaging each other upon insertion of the battery (2) in the receiving opening (7).

Locking clamp for securing a bicycle seat post to a bicycle frame

The present invention features a locking clamp capable of securing a post into a bicycle frame such that only a user can remove the locking clamp. The locking clamp may comprise a lock capable of accepting an unlocking method that only the user may utilize, ensuring security of the post to protect items stored in the post (e.g. a bicycle repair assembly). The unlocking method may depend on the type of lock implemented. The locking clamp may further comprise a first jaw extending from the lock, a second jaw extending from the lock, and a screw connecting the first jaw and the second jaw. Actuating the screw may move the first jaw closer to the second jaw thus tightening the locking clamp around an interface of the post and the bicycle frame.
