Motorcycle saddlebags can be easily scratched or damaged when not installed on a motorcycle (i.e., when left free-standing on the ground). When motorcycle saddlebags are off of the motorcycle they are generally sat on the ground loosely or hung on a wall. Storing motorcycle saddlebags loosely on the ground increases the probability that the saddlebags will be damaged or scratched. Storing motorcycle saddlebags on a wall takes up valuable storage space when the motorcycle saddlebags are not in use.
