Vehicle with leaning suspension system
A leaning suspension system for vehicles includes suspension arms that rotate about the same pivoting point. A swing frame also rotates about the same pivoting point. The center of gravity of the vehicle remains lower than the pivoting point even when the vehicle is leaning. A wheel mount assembly is rotatably mounted to a suspension arm. A shock absorber has an end that is connected to the wheel mount assembly and another end that is connected to the suspension arm. A control unit of the vehicle includes a computer that controls actuators of the leaning suspension system based on received sensor information. The vehicle can be a tricycle or a quadracycle.
Tricycle with height-tilting wheel suspension linked to the driving handlebar
A tricycle for riding on any type of terrain, improving stability and safety in slow movement, having a structural chassis incorporating a rolling assembly made up of a rear wheel associated to a propulsion system and two front wheels linked to a driving handlebar, wherein the front wheels are incorporated in a height-tilting suspension, made up of articulated quadrilaterals able to be deformed independently with vertical movement depending on the individual resting of the front wheels on irregularities of the terrain, the height-tilting suspension linking to the handlebar, by means of a transmission, which links the height-oscillating movements of the articulated quadrilaterals of the height-tilting transmission with an equivalent lateral tilting of the handlebar, this transmission having a clutch which allows for enabling or disabling the linkage of the movements between the height-tilting suspension and the handlebar.
Rolling type vehicle
A rolling type vehicle includes a pair of left and right front wheels and has a vehicle body capable of rolling. The rolling type vehicle includes a pair of left and right arm members supported in a swingable manner by the vehicle body on inner sides in the transverse direction for supporting the left and right front wheels in a steerable manner on outer sides in the transverse direction. A pair of left and right knuckle members are supported by transversely outer end portions of the left and right arm members in a swingable manner and which are steered together with the left and right front wheels, respectively. A regulating member for regulating the turning angle of each front wheel is provided between the transversely outer end portion of at least one of the left and right arm members and the knuckle member supported by the transversely outer end portion.
Brake system and vehicle
A brake system includes a brake activator which reduces, when a slipping condition of a right front wheel is detected based on a signal which is detected by a right detector, both braking forces on the right front wheel and a left front wheel to a lower level than a level of a braking force which is obtained as a result of operation of an input member and which reduces, when a slipping condition of the left front wheel is detected based on a signal which is detected by a left detector, both braking forces on the left front wheel and the right front wheel to a lower level than a level of a braking force which is obtained as a result of operation of the input member.
Adult tricycles having pivoting frames, suspension systems and enhanced stability
An adult tricycle has a front frame and a rear frame that are pivotally connected together and a suspension for minimizing shock as the tricycle is driven over a surface. The suspension includes a shock absorbing element having a leading end that is pivotally connected with the front frame and a trailing end that is pivotally connected with the rear frame. The tricycle has a front wheel with a diameter that is bigger than the diameters of the rear wheels and a seat that sits higher than the diameter of the front wheel. The adult sized tricycle enables parents to ride cycles with small children and provides a safe, stable cycle for mature adults and senior citizens.
A Coupled Steering Tilting and Embedded Independent Suspension Swing Arm System for Multi-wheeled Personal Mobility Vehicles
A coupled steering tilting and embedded independent shock absorption swing arm system (STS) system of a personal mobility vehicle, for example, but not limited to, a three-wheeled trike configuration, is disclosed.
Suspension device
A suspension device includes two telescopic elements and achieves reduction in a size of a vehicle including the suspension device while securing rigidity sufficient to endure a load applied from a road surface to a wheel supported by the suspension device. A second outer member is smaller than a first outer member and is connected to the first outer member via a first connection portion and a second connection portion arranged in the extension/contraction direction of a second telescopic element, the second outer member is connected to the first outer member via a first connection portion and a second connection portion arranged in the extension/contraction direction of the second telescopic element.
FRAME OF A VEHICLE WITH FRONT WHEELS
A frame of a vehicle includes a front fork unit pivotably connected to a head tube of a vehicle body mechanism, a crank axle disposed on the front fork unit for two front-wheel cranks to be pivoted thereon. Two front wheels are pivotably disposed on the cranks, respectively. A front-wheel counteracting mechanism is pivotably connected between each of the cranks and the front fork unit to transmit an impact force to the cranks so as to cause opposite upward and downward movements of the front wheels to thereby keep the front wheels in contact with the ground and to render movement of the vehicle steady and safe.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes a body frame, a left front wheel and a right front wheel, a link mechanism configured to be deformed as a vehicle body leans, and vehicle components disposed directly forward of the link mechanism in relation to a front-and-rear direction of the vehicle. The vehicle components are supported on the body frame via penetrating portions that extend from the body frame toward the front of the vehicle and penetrate the link mechanism.
Vehicle suspension system and vehicle
A vehicle suspension system includes a frame, a damper and a rocker arm. The frame is connected with the rocker arm through the damper, the swing part of swing arm limits the swing arm's rotation angle by matching the limit structure on the frame; the bottom of damper is provided with the universal structure, the damper is connected with the rocker arm through the universal structure, and the universal structure controls the damper in free deflection. A deviation motion of vehicle wheels on both ends by coordinating the swing arm, vibration damper, etc. to avoid the slipping and rollover due to great sides way upon vehicle steering and the lateral wheels disengagement from ground and to enhance the safety of cornering driving of vehicles.
