FREEWHEEL AND THRUST BEARINGS SYSTEM AND VEHICLE TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS INCLUDING SUCH A SYSTEM
A one-way bearing, a bearing assembly, and a free-wheeling mechanism for a bicycle are disclosed herewith. The bearing assembly, comprises a one-directional bearing having an inner and outer race, a first thrust bearing and a second thrust bearing, wherein the inner and outer races of the one-directional bearing are formed to retain one or both of the thrust bearings. The one-way bearing comprises an outer race and an inner race with a one-directional bearing mechanism located between said inner and outer races, the inner race comprising an inner race ring portion, with an inner flange projecting from the inner race ring portion in a first direction parallel to an axis of rotation of the bearing, and an outer flange, projecting in a second direction away from the axis of rotation of the bearing, an outer race comprising an outer race ring portion and an outer flange portion extending axially inwardly from the outer race ring portion, there therefore being defined a first bearing surface around an outer circumference of the inner race ring portion, a second bearing surface defined by the inner circumference of the outer race ring portion, a third bearing surface defined by a first sidewall of the inner race ring portion and/or the inner flange, a fourth bearing surface defined by a second sidewall of the inner race ring portion and/or the outer flange and a fifth bearing surface defined by an inner surface of the outer race flange portion.
Quick release ball-lock pedal spindle
In traditional bicycle pedals, the mechanism that maintains a pedal's rocking synchronicity with the rotating crank consists of a spindle that extends in the interior of the pedal's cylindrical housing that is typically furnished with ball bearings, a washer, and a nut at the endmost part of the pedal to secure all of its axle components in place. To attach to the crank arm, the right side pedal spindle typically has a right-hand thread and removes counterclockwise while installs clockwise, and the left side pedal spindle has a left-hand thread that removes clockwise and installs counterclockwise. The present invention facilitates the mounting of bicycle pedals by using a square end (i.e. the four flat sides to the mounting end of the spindle) and a ball-lock mechanism to secure the pedal to the crank arm.
Willie's Crancks
A modified crank arm with an elevated point of leverage and angle of support in relation to the crank arm is disclosed. When the point of leverage in the bicycle pedaling motion is increased, crankset rotation can be done with less physical effort of the cyclist and more bicycle speed is produced by the perpetual motion.
Transmission Shaft of Electric Vehicle
A transmission shaft of an electric vehicle comprises a transmission rod, a five-way base and a rear gearbox. The five-way base comprises a five-way base body, a five-way base cylinder, a left lock ring, and a right cover. The five-way base cylinder is sleeved on the outer peripheral surface of the five-way base body. The left lock ring and the right cover are connected to both ends of the five-way base body by threads. Both ends of the mandrel protrude from the left lock ring and the right cover, respectively, and a five-way gear is sleeved on the surface of the mandrel The five-way gear is rotatably connected to the five-way base body and is meshed with a front transmission gear. The inner peripheral surface of the five-way gear is provided with ratchet teeth.
BICYCLE BOTTOM BRACKET SET
A bicycle bottom bracket set has two bearing cups, the bearing cup has a built-in ring, a tightening socket and a bearing. The built-in ring and the tightening socket are provided with a guiding end and a connecting portion. When the bearing cup screw is installed, the guiding end of the built-in ring can be gradually opened and pressed against the inner wall of the bottom bracket. When the bottom bracket has inner diameter offsets caused by the heat expansion and contraction factor or the poor processing, the combination of the forced tension of the bearing cup can achieve the purpose of structurally limiting. The stability of the structural installation while ensuring the safety of the structure.
TORQUE DETECTION DEVICE AND TRANSMISSION UNIT FOR A MUSCLE-POWERED VEHICLE
A torque detection arrangement for a vehicle driven by muscle power has an input shaft via which a torque for driving the vehicle can be transmitted. The torque is to be detected. At least one rotary member is mounted on the input shaft and is designed to transmit the torque. The input shaft and the rotary member are resiliently connected in the rotational direction via a torsion spring arrangement. A twisting angle detection arrangement is designed to detect a rotation of the rotary member relative to the input shaft. The input shaft is designed as a hollow shaft. A torsion spring of the torsion spring arrangement is arranged inside the hollow input shaft.
Fitting structure of bottom bracket shell of bicycle
A fitting structure of a bottom bracket shell of a bicycle contains: a hollow body having a receiving orifice. A first engagement element includes a first engaging section, a first aperture, and a first tilted guide portion. A second engagement element includes a second engaging section, a second aperture, and a second tilted guide portion. A first sleeve includes a first accommodation portion, a first connection portion, a first rib, a first abutting portion, and a first coupling section, wherein a first conically inclined face is defined between the first sleeve and the first tilted guide portion. A second sleeve includes a second accommodation portion, a second connection portion, a second rib, a second abutting portion, and a second coupling, wherein a second conically inclined face is defined between the second sleeve and the second tilted guide portion.
BOTTOM BRACKET FOR BICYCLES
A bottom bracket is connected to a spindle and a frame of a bicycle. The bottom bracket comprises a housing and an adapter. The housing is connected to the frame and comprises a substantially circular disc, one or more pins, and an actuating mechanism. The disc comprises a plurality of disc openings arranged proximate to a circumferential edge of the disc and is adapted to rotate with the spindle. The pins selectively engage with the disc openings, wherein the engagement of the pins with the disc openings prevents further rotation of the disc. The actuating mechanism selectively engages the pins with the disc openings. The adapter removably is attached to the housing and connected to the frame.
