TISSUE RETRACTOR DEVICE
A tissue retractor device includes a first retractor, a second retractor and a band extending between the first retractor and the second retractor. The first and second retractors are configured to grasp edges of an incision while the band is configured to form an anatomy space and wrap around a patient's body part, while. At least one of the first retractor and the second retractor includes a first arcuate portion, a first connection portion and a first cam portion positioned between the first arcuate portion and the first connection portion. The first cam portion includes a cam surface for contacting the skin of a patient outside of an incision. The length of the band extending between the first retractor and the second retractor is adjustable.

Customizable wound closure device and method of use
A negative pressure wound closure system and methods for using such a system are described. Preferred embodiments of the invention facilitate closure of the wound by preferentially contracting to provide for movement of the tissue. Some embodiments may include wound closure devices built from smaller units that are modular, assemble-able and/or customizable.
Retention suture assembly
This invention relates to devices that join a pair of edges. Previously, suture assemblies used holes perpendicular to a vertical plane. Embodiments of the present invention use a first pad tunnel (130) between a first pad lower plane opening (126) and a first pad upper plane opening (122). A first pad tunnel major axis (132) passes through a first pad upper plane opening center (124) and a first pad lower plane opening center (128). For reference a first pad orthogonal axis (134) passes through the first pad upper plane opening center (124) orthogonal to the first pad upper plane (118) and the first pad lower plane (120). A first pad angle (θ1) is measured clockwise from the first pad orthogonal axis (134) to the first pad tunnel major axis (132). The first pad angle is at least five degrees but no more than 175 degrees.
Flexible material dispenser
A dispensing device configured to operate with an adhesive backed mesh and backing film for tissue bonding is disclosed. The dispensing device provides for low-friction, low force pay-out of a desired length of an adhesive backed mesh to a wound site. The device prevents or eliminates distortion of the mesh prior to application to the wound site, and includes means for reducing or eliminating binding during use. The dispensing device is configured to operate in a “forward” mode (substrate to which mesh is applied passes beneath applicator after mesh is applied) to provide essentially an unobstructed view of the wound site during use.
Apparatus and methods for occluding an anatomical structure
Apparatus and methods are disclosed for occluding an anatomical structure including an occlusion apparatus having first and second beams and at least one connector for connecting the respective ends of the beams together. The occlusion apparatus may be adapted for use in a deployment device having a pair of jaws and optionally having a respective pair of shuttle bodies for releasably connecting an occlusion apparatus to the jaws while in an open position and for releasing the occlusion device from the jaws while in a closed position. A system for occluding an anatomical structure is also disclosed that includes an occlusion apparatus and a deployment device for holding the occlusion apparatus in an open position for locating the occlusion device adjacent the anatomical structure to be occluded and then moving the occlusion apparatus to a closed position and locking the occlusion apparatus in the closed position.

MEDICAL FIXING SYSTEM
A medical fixing system includes: a first fixing device fixed to a target lesion and having a first joining part and a first auxiliary fixing portion; a second fixing device fixed to the target lesion and having a second auxiliary fixing portion; a cord-receiving device connected to the first joining part of the first fixing device; and a fixing cord in contact with the first auxiliary fixing portion and the second auxiliary fixing portion and connected to the cord-receiving device. The cord-receiving device has a cord-receiving mechanism. The cord-receiving device adjusts an exposed length of the fixing cord with the cord-receiving mechanism.
Anastomosis devices
Implantable medical devices for connecting tissue layers or occluding body conduits and tissue structures include apposition portions, a central region, and a covering material. The methods of using the devices include endoscopic deployment, and the devices may include self-expanding frameworks that facilitate a secure connection between the tissue structures. In some embodiments, one or more tethers are used to longitudinally contract the device in situ.
Sutureless device and method for closing a tissue opening
A sutureless device and methods for closing a tissue opening that minimizes the labor, cost, and skill typically required is disclosed. The apparatus comprises two anchors that attach to either side of an open tissue wound. The two anchors are connected together by a tie strip; the tie strip has a plurality of teeth and a rack. As the wound edges and anchors are brought together the ratchet system on the tie strip prevents the anchors and tissue wound from reopening. To control the distance between the two anchors, a rack and pinion system and a key or a lever system is utilized. The rack is located on the tie strip and the pinion is located on the key.
