A method for maintaining a physical asset based on recommendations generated by analyzing operational data and a composite model of a plurality of models representing the physical asset includes constructing, by a computing device, using a port-reduced static condensation reduced basis element approximation of at least a portion of a partial differential equation, the composite model. The computing device analyzes an error indicator associated with at least one model within the composite model to determine that the error indicator exceeds a tolerance level and increases a number of basis functions in the port-reduced static condensation reduced basis element approximation accordingly. The computing device receives first operational data associated with at least one region of the physical asset and updates the composite model. The computing device provides a recommendation for maintaining the physical asset, based upon the updated composite model.

In preferred embodiments, an outdoor motor mounted to the rotatable hull will turn to vector thrust and apply a moment to rotate the hull around a nominally vertical axis where the hull connects to the vessel. The invention also is directed to a vessel, which employs a plurality of rotatable hulls. A plurality of rotatable hulls can be arranged into a tripod, square or other stable geometric configuration and connected by a structure to form a vessel that can move in any direction along the plane of the surface of the water with or without changing the yaw axis orientation of the connecting structure. This may be useful in applications such as catching objects that are descending from the sky.

Thereby the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from having a first rigid shape to temporarily being reversibly deformed, after which, when the impact force is terminated, the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from temporarily being in the second state back to being in the first state. Engine assembly for a watercraft

A watercraft includes a hull, an engine compartment defined at least in part by the hull, an engine disposed in the engine compartment, an air intake conduit fluidly connected to the engine, an air filter fluidly connected to the air intake conduit, and a shroud connected to an inlet end of the air intake conduit located in the engine compartment. The shroud has an open end and a closed end. The open end is open to flow of air therethrough and the closed end is closed to flow of air therethrough. The shroud has a sidewall extending between the closed and open ends. The shroud is oriented such that the open end is disposed rearward of the closed end. Noise exiting the inlet end of the air intake conduit and the air filter is reflected generally rearward by the shroud. An engine assembly for a watercraft is also disclosed.

A watercraft includes a hull, an engine compartment defined at least in part by the hull, an engine disposed in the engine compartment, an air intake conduit fluidly connected to the engine, an air filter fluidly connected to the air intake conduit, and a shroud connected to an inlet end of the air intake conduit located in the engine compartment. The shroud has an open end and a closed end. The open end is open to flow of air therethrough and the closed end is closed to flow of air therethrough.
