Control and audio systems for a boat
A boat includes a dash positioned proximate a windshield at a first non-zero angle. A speaker is mounted under a top surface of the dash at a second non-zero angle. The speaker is positioned to direct sound emanating from the speaker through an opening in the dash and the windshield is configured to reflect the sound emanating from the speaker as reflected sound in an aft direction. The boat may also include an enclosure having a reflective surface positioned within a cavity formed between the deck and hull of the boat. A speaker, mounted within the enclosure, and the reflective surface are configured to reflect sound emanating from the speaker off of the reflective surface and through an opening of the enclosure.

CONTROL AND AUDIO SYSTEMS FOR A BOAT
A boat includes a controller that is communicatively coupled to a control screen. The controller has stored therein a plurality of modes corresponding to an activity and includes a plurality of controls corresponding to the activity. The controller is configured to display on the control screen, when one of the modes is activated, the plurality of controls for the activated mode. The activated mode may also be an operating mode that corresponds to an operational condition of the boat. The boat may include a processor that is configured to generate an adjusted audio signal by selecting one or more of a plurality of subranges of frequencies of an audio signal and adjusting the selected subranges to compensate for at least one environmental condition associated with the operational condition of the boat corresponding to the operating mode.

Invertible personal watercraft with viewing window
An inflatable hand-held snorkeling float supports a see-through underwater viewing module having a top glass and a bottom glass joined by a collapsible sidewall. A pneumatic chamber surrounds the viewing module. The chamber has a top deck and a bottom deck symmetrically pitched about a central longitudinal axis to form a wedge-shape having an included angle between about 5° and 15°. The top and bottom glasses are also wedge-shaped symmetrically about the longitudinal axis. Handles extend from the sides of the chamber, and are generally centered along a central transverse axis. An optional accessory mount may be affixed to one of the decks adjacent the bow. The accessory mount can be configured with a pair of dedicated connection pads to hold a dive flag and a camera, or two cameras, etc. The configuration of the float provides flotation symmetry when roll-inverted but flotation asymmetry when pitch-inverted.

RETRACTABLE WINDSHIELD
A retractable windshield for a boat includes a main windshield section having a closed configuration in which the main windshield section is substantially vertically oriented in front of a driving position within the center console and an open configuration in which the main windshield section is substantially horizontally oriented above the driving position and adjacent to the rooftop. The main windshield section is configured to rotationally transition from the closed configuration to the open configuration in response to a force applied to a bottom portion of the main windshield section in a direction away from the driving position and upward.
Boat windshield with integrated audio system
A windshield includes a framework with a bottom trim and a top trim, a windshield panel secured to the framework, and a speaker system secured to the framework adjacent the windshield panel between the bottom trim and the top trim. The windshield integrates speakers just above the deck and closer to passenger head level. The design provides a much more balanced listening experience in a visually pleasing package.
