MOORING ROPE DEVICE OF FLOATING OFFSHORE STRUCTURE FOR AVOIDING SHIP COLLISION, METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING SAME
A floating offshore mooring chain apparatus for preventing collision with a ship is proposed. The mooring chain apparatus includes a buoyant body floating on the water surface to transfer resources to a transport ship, a plurality of mooring chains fixed to the seabed to locate the buoyant body in position on the water surface, and a plurality of spider buoys disposed to a lower portion of the buoyant body such that the mooring chains laterally penetrate through the spider buoys, respectively, and extend toward the seabed in different directions, so that the mooring chains are moved by a rotating force along the extension directions thereof to displace the buoyant body.
Stabilized floating platform structure
A floating structure is described. The floating structure includes a floating platform disposed at a water surface, a mooring system and a damping system. The mooring system is configured for mooring one side of the floating platform to a sea floor, thereby to permit rotation of the floating structure and to provide a desired orientation down-wind with respect to an anchor point. The damping system is arranged at one side of the floating platform and is configured for absorbing wave energy and stresses imparted by the motion of waves in order to stabilize a horizontal position of the floating structure down-wind during a storm against the waves.
Submerged compartment fluid transfer system
An apparatus for use with a submerged compartment is presented. The apparatus includes deployable physical connection hardware provided with the submerged compartment. The deployable physical connection allows for a transfer of fluid between the submerged compartment and a region near a marine free surface when deployed. The deployable physical connection hardware comprises a hose in one aspect.
Buoyant system and method with buoyant extension and guide tube
The present invention provides a buoyant system and method for a hydrocarbon offshore floating platform to be coupled and decoupled from a subsea buoyant extension with risers slidably coupled thereto. The buoyant system can allow rigid risers to be coupled and decoupled and alternatively move between a first elevation below the offshore floating platform, such as at the buoyant extension, and a higher second elevation at the offshore floating platform independent of a spool piece, arch support, and flexible joint for the risers. The buoyant system can reduce riser stress by reducing bending required for the riser to form a catenary or other curved shape even as a rigid riser.

Buoy device
A buoy device includes a first part having a first support structure and a second part having a buoyant body and a second support structure. The first and second support structures are connectable to form a rotatable connection between the first part and the second part. The buoyant body further includes one or more buoyancy elements releasably arranged on the second part. The buoy device may be a turret buoy, a CALM turret buoy, or a CALM turntable buoy.

Smart Mooring Beacon Reservation System and Related Methods
A method of reserving a mooring beacon includes activating an application programming interface in communication with a database of mooring sites; transmitting a wireless signal from the application programming interface to a first mooring site within the database of mooring sites; selecting the mooring beacon from the first mooring site; receiving a location and availability of the mooring beacon; and reserving the mooring beacon for a desired reservation time. The mooring beacon is attached to each mooring site for purposes of instantaneous confirmation of availability and location. Safety, navigation ease, local weather and drop off and pick up data are also permitted by the mooring beacon enabling the owner to work toward full capacity mooring use.
