Apparatus for gas storage and transport

An assembly for storing and transporting compressed fluid, such as compressed natural gas (CNG) that includes; a plurality of hexagonally stacked pipe stored in a cargo hold in or on a vessel, such as a ship or barge, that includes a lower support, side supports and a forcing mechanism that presses so strongly down on the pipes that they cannot move relative to themselves or relative to the vessel on which they are placed in any service situation. The friction between each of the pipes causes the plurality of pipes to act as part of the vessel in terms of its structure. Each of the pipes in the plurality of pipes is connected to a manifold system to allow or the loading and unloading of the compressed fluid.

A METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING FLUID
20230081116 · 2023-03-16 · ·

A method and a system for providing fluid communication between a floating vessel and an installation, wherein the method connects a guiding line to a male stab arranged at an end portion of a fluid transfer hose. The guiding line is operatively connected to a pulling device, such as a winch, forming part of a fluid transfer unit having a female receptacle. The guiding line runs through the female receptacle, and a portion of the guiding line is pulled through the female receptacle until the male stab connects to the female receptacle.

Systems for handling one or more elongated members and methods for using same

Elongated member handling systems and methods for using same. The system can include one or more elongated members. A connector can be formed on or mechanically linked to a first end of each of the one or more elongated members. An optional cover can be coupled to the connector. The system can also include a pulling assembly at least partially disposed about the one or more elongated members and adjacent the first end of each of the one or more elongated members. The pulling assembly can include a support skid. The pulling assembly or, if present, the optional cover can include a primary pulling anchor. The system can also include a jumper winch configured to be mechanically linked to the primary pulling anchor. The jumper winch, when mechanically linked to the primary pulling anchor, can be configured to pull the pulling assembly from a first structure to a second structure.

SWIVEL

A fluid swivel (100) comprising a first part (100a) and a second part (100b) configured to mutually rotate about a common center axis (A). The swivel (100) has a central bore (101) configured to accommodate a fluid to be transported through the fluid swivel (100). A central member (12) is arranged in the central bore (101), and the center axis (A) extend through the central member. A hydraulic line (43, 53) extends from the first part (100a) to the second part (100b) through the central member (12).

Mooring support structures, systems for mooring vessels, and processes for using same. In some embodiments, a system for mooring a vessel can include a mooring support structure than can include a post connected at a first end to a turntable disposed on a base structure. The post can extend out from the turntable and a yoke head connector can be connected to a second end of the post. A distal end of the yoke head connector can provide a disconnection location such that when a yoke head is disconnected from the yoke head connector, the yoke head can fall by gravity from the yoke head connector without contacting the mooring support structure.

System and method for heading control of a floating LNG vessel using a set of real-time monitored hull integrity data

A system for offshore production of LNG from an FLNG vessel includes a floating LNG vessel including a hull and a deck, a topsides hydrocarbon processing facility installed at or above the deck of the hull of the FLNG vessel, an FLNG vessel cargo containment system including one or more insulated FLNG vessel cryogenic storage tanks installed within the hull of the FLNG vessel, a dynamic positioning control system operatively associated with a system of thrusters onboard the FLNG vessel where the dynamic positioning control system maintains the FLNG vessel at a desired heading around a station keeping point during LNG production operations, and a computer processor for receiving a set of real-time monitored environmental data.
