PORTABLE WATERCRAFT
20200346716 · 2020-11-05 ·

An easily assembled highly portable watercraft comprising a modular boat system that seats one or more operators and is comprised of four or more pontoons connected to downward-sloping diagonally-placed outrigger beams with attached stiffeners connecting to a bridge-deck. The portable watercraft can be rowed, poled, propelled by fins or propellers, and sailed, for example, by an operator situated on the bridge-deck. The pontoons, outriggers, bridge-deck, and other aspects are easily interchangeable to conform to numerous configurations making a custom watercraft that is tailorable to varying water conditions.

Multidimensional storage

A multidimensional storage system is disclosed that provides optimal accessibility, flexibility, and adaptability. The storage system can include an elevated v-shape that can position storage containers closer to an angler's sides. The angled shape of the storage system can facilitate easier access to storage containers stored behind an angler. A bulk storage space provided in storage system can be used to stow items. The storage system can include a waterproof compartment in its base for dry storage.

CASTABLE SONAR DEVICES AND OPERATIONS IN A MARINE ENVIRONMENT

Many different types of systems are utilized and tasks are performed in a marine environment. The present invention provides various configurations of castable devices that can be operated and/or controlled for such systems or tasks. One or more castable devices can be integrated with a transducer assembly, such as a phased array, that emits sonar beams and receives sonar returns from the underwater environment. Processing circuitry may receive the sonar returns, process the sonar returns, generate an image, and transmit the image to a display.

A fishing rod storage system within a cabin of a boat includes plural holes in the floor of a cabin of a boat arranged to receive and support the handle of a fishing rod in each hole. A retractable shelf is mounted on a cabinet above and adjacent the plural holes. The shelf has cutout sections corresponding in number to the plurality of holes. The cutout sections are aligned respectively with the holes for receiving a section of a fishing rod therein. A securing line is used to retain the fishing rods in the cutout sections.

BOAT STEERING AND PROPULSION SYSTEM
20200247516 · 2020-08-06 ·

Techniques are disclosed to enable a system for controlling the propulsion and steering of a boat by a boat operator. The boat has at least one propulsion and steering motor assembly connected to the boat with a propeller, and a propulsion motor. It also has left and right pivoting pedals to provide a signal that controls the angle of the propeller so that if the left pedal is pivoted in a first pivot direction by a first percentage and the right pedal is pivoted in a second pivot direction by a second percentage, the boat executes a turn, moves forward, or moves in reverse.

Sidewall-suspended boat cooler
