Control system for small marine vessel

A control system for a marine vessel that includes a drive source and an operator that receives an operation is able to switch a control mode of the drive source without providing an additional operator. An operation received by the operator when the drive source is resting is disabled, and a function of switching a control mode of the drive source is assigned to the operation of the operator that is received when the drive source is resting.

Enhanced Steering Control System

Systems, methods, and devices for enhancing steering control of a recreational vehicle. One or more mechanical dampers are coupled to and resist movement of a steering system of the recreational vehicle, and an electrically actuated device is coupled to the steering system for applying torque to the steering system. A sensor is also positioned adjacent the steering system that generates data indicating an operational state of the recreational vehicle. A first torque applied to the steering system by the one or more mechanical dampers is estimated based on the operational state, a second torque to apply to the steering system by the electrically actuated device is calculated based on the estimated first torque and the operational state, and the electrically actuated device is operated to apply the second torque to the steering system.

Provided is an actuator including: a casing; and a cable driving part including a rotation member connected to a cable. The cable driving part moves the cable forward and backward by rotating the rotation member with a force of a motor based on an operation signal. The cable extends from a water flow direction changing part and is inserted into the casing. The water flow direction changing part changes a direction of a water flow to be ejected. The operation signal is an operation signal for operating the water flow direction changing part.

SMALL PLANING WATERCRAFT AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SMALL PLANING WATERCRAFT

A small planing watercraft includes: a travel electrical component driven for travel of the small planing watercraft; an accessory electrical component provided separately from the travel electrical component; a battery supplying power to the travel electrical component and the accessory electrical component; a sensor detecting a physical quantity corresponding to a level of the battery; and processing circuitry determining, based on a result of detection of the sensor, whether the level of the battery is a predetermined power saving level, and controlling, when it is determined that the level of the battery is the power saving level, operation of the accessory electrical component so that power consumed by the accessory electrical component is less than that before determination.

A bumper holder may attach or clamp to a variety of types of personal watercraft (PWC) to provide a bumper. The bumper holder may be used to hold the PWC in place regardless whether the PWC is docked or in use. The bumper holder does not require being near a dock/pier or piling to be used. The bumper holder may have a clamp that may connect to a PWC. The clamp may be affixed to a first bar that may be attached to a second bar using a hinge portion. The second bar may include the bumper at the end opposite the hinge portion. The bumper holder may include a lock bar that may connect and secure a top portion of the first bar to the second bar. The first bar and the second bar may be telescopic and/or adjustable.

Hydrojet propulsion system

A personal watercraft is disclosed including a flotation portion, a strut extending from the flotation portion, and a motor pod is disposed along the strut with an electric motor operably coupled to a driveshaft. A hydrojet unit is removably attached to the motor pod and includes an inlet portion removably attached to the motor pod and a substantially cylindrical housing. The inlet portion includes a substantially conical motor interface with a shaft through-hole for receiving the driveshaft therein, one or more fins extending outwardly from the conical motor interface, and at least one ring encircling the conical motor interface and connecting to each of the one or more fins for inhibiting objects from passing through the inlet region. The housing defines a fluid flow path to an outlet portion. The hydrojet unit includes an impeller coupled to the driveshaft and a stator disposed within the housing.
