HANDS-FREE FOOT CARE AND CALLOUS REMOVAL DEVICE
A hands-free foot care and callous removal device is provided, configured to enable insertion of a user's foot into the device to contact brush plates for hands-free cleaning and/or massaging of the foot and/or to enable the user to contact abrasive surfaces with the foot's top, sides, bottom, and/or heel for hands-free abrading of dead skin and/or callouses on the foot. A method of using the device for hands-free cleaning, massaging, or abrading the foot is also provided, particularly wherein the user has difficulty accessing surfaces of their feet due to a chronic condition such as arthritis, obesity, chronic back pain, or injury.

A fluid line provides fluid communication between the console and the handpiece assembly. A manifold system is coupled to the console and controlled by the user input device. The manifold system is configured to hold releasably a plurality of fluid sources and deliver fluid from at least one of the plurality of fluid sources to the handpiece assembly.

The jet spray delivery head has a base formed at the distal end of the body, a localized environmental jet spray isolation chamber extending from the base to a distal exit port, a nozzle extending into the isolation chamber from the base, connected to a combined inflow of the liquid suspension and the pressurized gas, and one or more tubes mounted within the nozzle for receiving the combined inflow, each tube having a delivery tip extending into the isolation chamber for emitting a high pressure, high velocity jet spray along a delivery axis in response to receiving the combined inflow.

Through the use of multiple flexible cleaning bands configured to scrub the heel and sole of a user's foot, as well as a toe cleaning mechanism, the automatic foot cleaner and callus remover is capable of cleaning the user's foot and removing any calluses on the user's foot. Optionally, the automatic foot cleaner and callus remover is filled with a liquid such as infused water to assist with the cleaning process.
