A water vessel that may be assembled from a single piece of material via a fold and lever/clamp system that allows a user to assemble, use, and later disassemble the vessel into a packed form as well as assemble the vessel from the packed form.

Pod system for houseboat assembly
11127060 · 2021-09-21 · ·

A pod system for use with a houseboat assembly is disclosed herein, with the pod system comprising a first pod and a second pod. The first pod and the second pod are configured to be selectively disposed in a pod slot defined by the houseboat assembly. The first pod is generally free of any locomotive capabilities, while the second pod includes a movement element. When the second pod is disposed in the pod slot, the movement element may be actuated from a helm of the houseboat assembly to impart locomotive capabilities to the houseboat assembly. When locomotive capabilities are not desired, the second pod may be replaced by the first pod in the pod slot. Connectors are provided on the houseboat assembly, first pod, and second pod to removably secure the first pod and the second pod in the pod slot as desired.

BALLAST WATER-FREE VESSEL USING DIFFERENCE IN DEPTH OF BOTTOM SHELL PLATE BETWEEN BOW/STERN AND MIDSHIP SECTION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

A ballast water-free ship using a difference in the depth of the bottom shell plate between the bow/stern and the midship section and a construction method thereof. A stepped portion is formed between either the bow or the stern and the midship section, such that the depth of the bottom shell plate of either the bow or the stern differs from the depth of the bottom shell plate of the cargo containment in the midship section, so that cargo can be loaded and unloaded without ballast water operation.

METHOD FOR IMPROVING A FLUID DYNAMIC PROFILE OF A MARINE VESSEL, A MARINE VESSEL HAVING AN IMPROVED FLUID DYNAMIC PROFILE, AND A COATING SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING THE FLUID DYNAMIC PROFILE

A method for improving a fluid dynamic profile and fouling properties of a marine vessel with a welding seam which forms a cap protruding above a surface being under the waterline of a vessel. The method comprising amending the welding seam by applying a fairing to the underwater surface, e.g. by use of filler. A vessel with a fairing, and a coating system for a vessel and including a fairing.

Marine vessels, including combatant (naval) vessels are produced inexpensively without requiring the use of as many skilled personnel as is conventional. The vessel produced has a high strength metal truss structure (both above and below the water line) capable of carrying major hull loads. A number of curved or doubly curved composite (e. g. GRP) panels produced by vacuum assisted resin transfer molding are fastened by bolts, marine adhesives, and/or rivets to the below water line portions of the truss structure where necessary to handle slamming loads and to reduce water resistance and wake. Substantially flat composite pultruded panels are fastened to the truss structure both above the water line, and below the water line where the resistance to slamming loads and reduction of water resistance and wake are not critical. Necessary equipment is installed within the open truss volume before the above-water-line panels are fully installed.

HOUSEBOAT ASSEMBLY
20200398948 · 2020-12-24 ·

The present disclosure relates to a houseboat assembly formed from a cabin assembly secured to a hull assembly. In some version of the houseboat assembly, one or both of the cabin assembly and the hull assembly may be formed in accordance with a boat type and/or a floor plan. The boat type and/or floor plan may be selected by a customer. The cabin assembly may be formed at a first location and the hull assembly may be formed at a second location. The cabin assembly and hull assembly may then be transported to a third location. At the third location, the cabin assembly may be secured to the hull assembly to form the cabin assembly at the third location. The third location may be requested or specified by the customer.
