BOAT APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A SURF WAKE

A boat propeller apparatus can be coupled to virtually any motor boat to cause the boat to safely and efficiently produce a surfable wake. The boat propeller apparatus can be configured to mount to the boat in a way that causes the apparatus to be positioned and secured behind but spaced from the propeller while the boat is moving forward. The apparatus will therefore be in the path of the propelled water and will function to divert the propelled water in such a way as to create a larger/taller wake than would otherwise be produced by the boat. The boat propeller apparatus can also function as a propeller shield and be used in conjunction with a propeller guard.

Outboard Motor Including One or More of Cowling, Water Pump, Fuel Vaporization Suppression, and Oil Tank Features

Embodiments of outboard motors and related systems and components thereof, as well as arrangements of marine vessels implementing same, as well as related methods of operation, use, assembly, and manufacture, and related improvements, are disclosed herein. In at least some embodiments, the outboard motor includes a cowling system in which at least one divider portion separates an interior region into first and second portion, with the transmission and engine respectively being situated in the first and second portions, respectively. Additionally, in at least some embodiments, the outboard motor includes a water pump system in which a water pump is integrated with the transmission. Further, in at least some embodiments, the outboard motor includes a fuel vaporization suppression feature, or an oil tank feature that allows for desirable oil drainage from the engine of the outboard motor particularly when the outboard motor is in particular (e.g., storage) positions.

DRIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR A MARINE VESSEL

A drive arrangement for a marine vessel. The drive arrangement includes an upper drive part configured to be mounted onto an outside of a transom of the marine vessel. A lower drive part is connected to the upper drive part to be fixed in a vertical direction in relation to the upper drive part. The lower drive part has a hydrodynamic configuration and is provided with at least one propeller. A transmission system is arranged to transfer a drive torque to the propeller from a drive source system connected to the transmission system. An outer surface of the upper drive part substantially is made up of a plurality of surface sections connected by one or more edges. Each of said surface sections has a shape corresponding to a so-called ruled surface that can be generated by the motion of a straight line.

The invention relates to a watercraft, particularly a kayak having a battery compartment and motor mount for mounting a motor thereto. The kayak can be propelled either by a motor mounted to the motor mount or by manual paddling by a user of the kayak. The kayak may additionally have a seat mounted onto a track to allow the user to adjust their position as needed in the kayak. The kayak is extra wide to provide stability, while chamfered side walls allow the user to paddle with comfort regardless of the extra width. The kayak may optionally have wheels mounted thereon to facilitate handling and transport by the user.
